The hotel is newly renovated and probably the best you'll find in TJ. The room was a great value for the price, and the staff was friendly. Great location as well, right next to Av Revolucion. Oddly enough, Hotel Ticuan was twice as nice and half the price compared to the place we stayed in San Diego. I don't have... More

A nice hotel overall. The location was great and some tiny improvements could really help. A refrigerator should be standard in any mid-level and up hotel. Although there was an ice bucket in the room there were no ice machines. The only way to get ice was to have the housekeeping staff get it. And there's no vending machines (but... More

From checking in to checking out, it was a perfect place to stay for a medical procedure. The people were pleasant, food was great, and service with a smile. We walked all around the hotel and felt very safe. Lots of vendors selling things, but not real pushy. Found some great bargains.

To all my fellow business and entertainment amigos great news Ticuan will reopen June 20 2015. after six months of major renovations. Welcome back Ticuan who will be making contact with all previously registered guests-as always all international guests are assured safe and secure stay.

I just returned on a trip to TJ and would say that I had a pleasant surprise at the hospitality I got from the hotel and its staffers. I just want to add that the hotel management should consider having refridgerator and microwave in the room. These will make the room infrastructure complete and make the hotel more competitive. The... More

This is a locally owned hotel which is quite comfortable and has all of the critical amenities, including limited internet access and a restaurant on the premises. Biggest problem -- literally connected to a disco which plays loud -- and I mean THUDEROUS -- music until the early hours of the morning -- 4:00 AM or so.

I am a frequent visitor to Tijuana and I always stay at Hotel Ticuan. I have no complaints except for the price of a room. In the last two years the weekend rate for a Habitacion Sencilla has increased from 800 pesos to 1,250 pesos without any added value that I can see. I am pretty sure their costs including... More

Stayed at the Hotel Ticuan over the past weekend, and I have to say this is an excellent hotel to stay in for your Tijuana. The hotel staff was very attentive and helpful. The check in was quick, the room was nice, I could only imagine how much more expensive this place would have been if I stayed on the... More

It was a very pleasant comfortable somewhat clean room. Other reviewers hit the nail on the head. The wifi is TERRIBLE. You are situated in a club area, so if you're coming on a weekend, just know you should bring ear plugs, or just go out and join the party I suppose. However the nightclubs are open until 8 am,...
