Great location near some good restaurants. Good buffet for breakfast or lunch on weekends. I checked in for a long business stay. The first room sprung a water leak in the air conditioning unit on the 3rd night. I had to call twice to get maintenance but by then water was pouring into the closet and from the light fixture... I agree with most of the reviews. The hallways and rooms smell. They all need upgrading. Vintage 90's. They do seem to be upgrading the lobby etc. but they better follow that up with the rest of the rooms. The staff is friendly and food is not bad. The pool is ok but on the Saturday afternoon we visited we... More

The staff from the AM 690 Radio show, Aventuras Al Aire Libre con EL GRINGO recently stayed at the Grand recently and had a great time. The accommodations were first class, the buffet to die for, the entertainment was great and just sitting in the comfortable lobby and watching the world go by was great. I can't wait to visit... Dont get me wrong...it is good.. its just.. you travel in time when you enter the elevator, They are renewing the Lobby....but thats it... There is a Night Club right next to the Lobby, nice option, yet kind of weird when all thepeople arrive and the club is not open yet.... Rooms are good, yet need remodeling. Location is great... I just returned from a week long stay in the Grand Hotel's new wing called "Grand Care". I had surgery in TJ, MX and stayed here post operatively. The 11th floor is dedicated to the Grand Care section, and it is secluded with private rooms and bathrooms. the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and immaculate! They were equipped with a... More

This hotel was great at one time, but everything is old in the room: bed is too low, hallway smells, and too many kids not being controlled/supervised by their parents. Pool is too small. Too many unsupervised kids in jacuzzi. Life guard (if there was one) was not doing his job. At time of our visit, too many people in... More

We stayed 3 nights at grand club room. Staffs were good and the room was clean. Parking fee was 15 peso per one check-in with verification. We enjoyed club lounge service, beverage and food at the lounge was not bad. All amenities in room has to be checked. In our room, mirror dropped, refrigerator and coffee maker didn't work, and... This is an older property. Room is spacious but dated. Best feature is purified water line in room. I have stayed at the Marriott nearby and was not provided enough drinking water. Laundry service was slow. Had to call repeatedly to get someone to pick up a pool towel I had to sign for a few days earlier. Also good... More

I highly recommend staying in the Grand Hotel Tijuana when visiting Tijuana. Our room was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable, and the marble shower was delightful. We couldn't hear our neighbors and the view of the city was breath taking.
