This was our second time at the Grand Hotel Tijuana in as many months, and the same issues presented themselves: A/C fluctuated from blistering hot to frigid on its own, seemingly unconnected to the thermostat. Some of the plumbing fixtures were missing handles or pieces. Front desk staff are the WORST! Inefficient, uninformed, rude and dismissive. By contrast the pool/jacuzzi... More

Nice and spacious room. Lobby is big and ample parking. Stay over the weekend and enjoyed my stay. TV was a little small for the size of the room but everything else was good. Overall a good value and a place I would advise you to stay.

I find that American expectations are too high when they are abroad to a Border Town. Tijuana has lost all their first class hotels, so you can't go there expecting to find a 5 star hotel. That said, the Grand Hotel served its purpose. The rooms are clean, there is breakfast as well as a happy hour and you were... More

Traveled there on business for 3 days and it was a nice place. Clean, spacious rooms and a beautiful view of the golf course. Went to Puerto Nuevo one day to have lunch and had the best lobster ever. The biggest flour tortillas you'll ever see,

Great location near some good restaurants. Good buffet for breakfast or lunch on weekends. I checked in for a long business stay. The first room sprung a water leak in the air conditioning unit on the 3rd night. I had to call twice to get maintenance but by then water was pouring into the closet and from the light fixture... I agree with most of the reviews. The hallways and rooms smell. They all need upgrading. Vintage 90's. They do seem to be upgrading the lobby etc. but they better follow that up with the rest of the rooms. The staff is friendly and food is not bad. The pool is ok but on the Saturday afternoon we visited we... More

The staff from the AM 690 Radio show, Aventuras Al Aire Libre con EL GRINGO recently stayed at the Grand recently and had a great time. The accommodations were first class, the buffet to die for, the entertainment was great and just sitting in the comfortable lobby and watching the world go by was great. I can't wait to visit... Dont get me wrong...it is good.. its just.. you travel in time when you enter the elevator, They are renewing the Lobby....but thats it... There is a Night Club right next to the Lobby, nice option, yet kind of weird when all thepeople arrive and the club is not open yet.... Rooms are good, yet need remodeling. Location is great... I just returned from a week long stay in the Grand Hotel's new wing called "Grand Care". I had surgery in TJ, MX and stayed here post operatively. The 11th floor is dedicated to the Grand Care section, and it is secluded with private rooms and bathrooms. the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and immaculate! They were equipped with a... More
