We were in Rosarito in the "off" season, and were looking for a comfortable respite while here. Rate was $102 a night. Not too expensive, average. Boy, what a let down. Winter time....no heaters in rooms. More drafts than blankets could handle. No water to the sink. One day, hot water to showers, later, no water. Next day, water to... More

First of all...it's Mexico. That being said, I love this place. Rooms are spacious but rustic, beds are adequate, linens clean. Bathroom is clean and has everything you need. The grounds are fenced, with a gate directly onto the beach. There is a beautiful pool and patio area with wonderful plants and a fountain. Every trip I make to Rosarito... More

This was my second stay at the Los Pelicanos Hotel, and both times, I loved it! On the first occasion, it was just my husband and myself, and we had a room on the second floor, facing the ocean. This was REALLY nice because we could keep our windows open and listen to the sound of the ocean all night.... More

The view and location is beautiful but rooms are filthy. No ventilation in restrooms, no ac or heating. Towels for rooms are very old and not enough towels in the rooms. The showers are disgusting they are brown on corners and on the grout. Very noisy at night. Takes a long time to check in and check out. Only one... More

My husband and I visited Rosarito for the first time last week and stayed for 3 nights. First off, the location of the hotel could not be better. It's right on the north end of the main beach which puts it far enough away from the main tourist area to be quiet but close enough to walk if one wants... More

Was looking for a cheap hotel nearby the beach with great food.. because I mean isn't that what everyone wants when they go to Mexico? Yes, but you won't find it here. The actual hotel is pretty old, has a cute little charm to it. I liked the architecture and how it is literally on the beach (however you have... More

A gem of a hotel right on the beach in Rosarito. We have stayed here many times. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The pool is beautiful, and inviting. The beach is mere steps away. But best of all is the restaurant! Best food in Rosarito by far! The only reason it does not get a 5 star is... More

It's on the beach. It has a pool. The rooms are big. That's the good. Avoid the 1st floor rooms, they are accessed from a dark parking garage so no matter which room you have, you'll always have the noise of people slamming car doors/trunks plus the car lock/unlock sounds. And the room doors are not very secure. Reception is... More

We loved staying in this quaint hotel which is right on the beach in Rosarito. Lots of funky decor, mostly with use of wood. The rooms were clean and spacious, overlooking the pool & ocean. The restaurant is reportedly the best in Rosarito and we found it to be so - large portions for good prices, lots of variety. We... More
