Our first clue that things weren't going to be so great was at check-in when the receptionist couldn't find our reservation...in spite of the fact we had confirmation in hand. But, surprise, they did have a double room for us. It was in their annex building at the far, north-end of the property. So off we headed admiring the view... More

The good things first: view its amazing! We was in the room 205. The bad things: Nasty,dirty...found socks in sheets from previous guest, and facial hair in our bathroom. The view its good, but doesnt have wifi, and everything its old, the bed its not good, and it doesnt have air conditioning or heating. Stay at your own risk!!!

I have been throughout Mexico down and up. I have stayed at the Rosarito Beach Hotel, Fiesta Plaza, Las Rocas, Hotel La Fonda, Los Pelicanos and some others. Castillos Del Mar takes the cake hands down when looking for a private romantic & elegant getaway. This property boasts two private beaches, which is unheard of in all of Rosarito. Hotel... More

I really liked this hotel. My experience started off with being checked in by Alex, super friendly and helpful. The room, although a little dated, had a wonderful view of the ocean and a big balcony from which to enjoy the view. I was there to relax and it was perfect for that. By the time I was ready for... My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in July and were very happy with the hotel for what we payed. The staff were extremely friendly - especially Rimon our bartender/waiter - he went out of his way to make us feel welcome and was fantastic with his customer service. The room we had at the start of our... More

Booking.com does an excellent job in hiding and faking all the disadvantages of this hotel! There is not Air Conditioned; There is not cable( Only one channel), Swimming Pool is too small,The hotel is and feels old and maintenance is not at the top. Advantage: Nice view of the Ocean and access to the beach ( have to take a... More

It may well be one of the big secrets of Rosarito. Tucked in a quiet street, it presents all the rustic charm of old-world Mexico. The red tiles, the pueblo architecture, the wrought-iron bed. I liked sleeping and waking up to the changing colors of Rosarito sky. Amazingly, it is well-kept, and allergen-free during my stay. The best part is... More

Immense and wonderful views, incredible private beach with cave. Was quoted 60, then 50, and finally 40 dollars for a room with a single bed. Other, newer, cleaner hotels in neighborhood cost 20. Location is to die for, great staff, better bar, and best views. Room was less than clean though, it SMELLED dirty and damp. I did'nt get bitten... More

I looked for a place to stay in Rosarito at the last minute and couldn't find anything with availability. When we arrived in Rosarito, I found the hotel and was pleasantly surprised. There was a guard who made sure that you were either a guest or a resident of the area before you were allowed in. The check in process... More
