Living in the desert it was great to have a room overlooking the Pacific. This is a Mexico hotel that may not have all the bells and whistles of those major resorts, but really makes you feel like you are on vacation. The room was older but clean and comfortable. The restaurants were very good both food and serve. the... More

Yes, everyone that is complaining is correct--this hotel does need TLC. Yet, the location is to die for! The waves breaking on the shore right out side of the hotel--you can hear it all night! I do not agree with the comments about the nasty towels and hard pillows. That all seemed fine. There is no A/C which could be... More

We had a suite which is a nice size. Rooms as well as the hotel is a bit run down but looks and feels clean. Beds were comfortable, sheets clean. Bathroom and towels clean as well. I think the most important downside is that there is no A/C so be aware. However hotel is located on the cliff just above... More

So I am a simple guy... we had a nice say. No contemplates Spent a bunch of time in the pool that was nice as well as Jacuzzi(s) that were not supper hot. The food was reasonably priced as were the drinks. Food and drinks were good. They had live music every night as well as a DJ during the... More

Let's start with the wait we had before our room was ready. We figured we would enjoy the outdoor palapa bar and have Margaritas. The margaritas were pre-mixed and sprayed from the bar hose. Two crusty local American women came and sat down next to us, chatted us up and ordered drinks. When my husband asked for our bill, the... More

The Good-A great view of the ocean-Nice Pool-Great Palapa Bar-Reutaurant is OK. Staff is friendly. The Bad-This was a 1st class hotel 20 years ago. Through disrepair and neglect it is now 2-3rd class. The charge for rooms isn't in keeping with what you get. We had a Jr. Suite with rock hard pillows and mattress. Sea birds had crapped... More

My husband, son & I recently stayed 3 nights at Las Rocas on the recommendation of a friend. We rented the largest suite - the Penthouse. Very roomy with comfortable beds & a great ocean view. No A/C here, so be aware if that is a concern - they will provide a fan on request. Upgrades have been made with... More

I had a great room for the value as I received an upgrade. Fabulous room accomodations, but the hotel amenities are not as taken care of. Hot tubs are great! Do not expect beach access here. My recommendation is to contact the Mexican Ministry of Tourism as they contract with a booking agency to help you book this for cheaper... More

Incredible views of the ocean and the sound of the waves in your room was wonderful. There were almost 100 of us here for a friend's daughter's wedding. The food was excellent and it was a beautiful wedding. This is a great, affordable place for a destination wedding.

My sisters and I decided to take a spur of the moment weekend trip not far from our Southern California homes, just a short trip across the border, 45 mins from downtown San Diego. This place is amazing! I'll start with the views. The most peaceful, relaxing views you will ever see. The infinity pool is a game changer. Our... More
