Stayed over one night (a Sunday) on an overnight visit to Baja from Santa Monica. Enjoyed free margaritas on arrivals on the beautiful patio overlooking the ocean. Dinner was great (fresh fish Veracruz-style) with further margaritas and relish cheesecake for desert. Stayed in the Medievel Room near the highway -- the room is well fitted, very comfortable bed, great shower,... More

Celebrated my birthday here 7/11-7/13 in the Polynesian room. You can get two welcome margaritas and you can also get a discount for meals there. Loved the patio with a couple of lounge chairs and two regular chairs. There is a stand for your umbrella to add extra shade. Enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails while we watched the waves... More

Poco Cielo is a wonderful inn run by friendly staff. Rooms are clean, unique and individually themed. The ocean views are spectacular and the beach is just steps away. Live music added to the ambience of the restaurant. There were warm welcomes at the front desk and restaurant, which made us feel so at home. I didn't want to leave,... More

This place is just what you need in Mexico. It is run by a Canadian who had brought together a fabulous Mexican staff. You are greeted with Hispanic hospitality from the dinning room right through to the lovely individualized guest rooms. The views cannot be beat, the beach is the best on the coast. This place makes me think of... More

We ended up going to Mexico for a few day vacation. They have fun, clean, and very cozy themed rooms. Each room has its own personality. The staff there is absolutely top notch. Cheryl and Dorian are fabulous hosts; Cheryl really takes care of this place from the bedding down to each meal that is prepared. Speaking of meals. We... More

Diana did an excellent job of welcoming us at the front desk. Cheryl, the owner, met us the next day and welcomed our group as if we were guests in her home. We had a great stay, ate breakfast and dinner, which were the best meals we had all trip. We will definitely return to Poco Cielo to our new... More

Really enjoyed my stay. My room (polynesian) was beautiful and the service was fantastic. The staff at poco cielo were so nice! La fonda next door had really fun entertainment on fridays but the food at poco cielo was sooooo much better. It was a very charming and the waves were great for surfing.

The owner of Poco Cielo has created an interesting and fun array of themed rooms. The spaces are ample, the rooms clean. They have a nice restaurant (a big thumbs up for OSCAR, the sweetest and most accommodating waiter ever!). I would give this place an excellent rating except for the noise from the neighboring establishment that is particularly bad... More

My fiancé and I decided to take a last minute mini vacation. La Fonda was booked for a wedding (where we stayed last year), so we decided to stay at Poco Cielo. We were excited to get away and since we'd been in the area before we thought it would all be the same as our prior stay. We thought... More

My husband and I just got back from our anniversary celebration and we absolutely loved Poco Cielo! It was quaint, the beach was perfect and the staff was awesome. I was very surprised at how good the food was in the restaurant. We would definitely recommend this place to couples and families!
