The owner was friendly. We asked for the cheapest room, and it was just to the right of the entry. No natural light or tv. The room was a bit dank. Bathroom was fine. Bed was fine. Overall the room was suitable. I would imagine the other rooms are a bit more lively all around.

Nice budget hotel. Free wi-fi, friendly service, not a far walk from the malecon, somewhat centrally located, across the street from a police substation of sort. Clean rooms, although a little on the small side. Rocking chairs outside of the rooms. Not many rooms available on the property, and communicating with them from out of the country can be tricky/inconsistent.

I stayed at the Hotel Posada San Martin, Loreto in February and again in March of 2014. This is a lovely, family-run inn, close to the malecon and Orlando's, where they make excellent food and amazing margaritas. The rooms are clean, the garden is lovely and the hosts are warm and accommodating. The coffee (real coffee, not the dishwater you... More

We came in from camping to get supplies, take hot showers, have a little town time and found this hotel: $350 pesos for two. It is located near the plaza. Great rocking chairs in the common area. Quaint. The staff is friendly. I had a nasty cough and the owners made a special herbal tea with local ingredients! How can... More

The hotel is very conveniently located, near the main plaza, the malecon (waterfront) and various restaurants. The layout is interesting with rooms opening into a common courtyard area. However the rooms themselves are small and a bit dark. However having said this the place was reasonable enough, not unpleasant. Everything was clean and in working order and the staff was... More

My room was 300 pesos and was a great value. The room was clean and pretty large (I'm bicycle touring so it had room for all my gear and bike without being crowded. They have coffee ready in the morning and a very friendly, albiet, small staff. The hotel is just off the street so there is some noise, but... More

We paid 350 pesos a night ($30US) and this room was very clean, with a good private bathroom, functional cable TV and most importantly amazing air conditioning. don`t expect luxury, but for a budget option, this was above expectations. highly recommended.

Rooms are reasonable size if a little dark, situated around a courtyard just inside the main entrance. Purified water available in the courtyard. No problem with the hot water. Beds comfortable. What more can you ask for the price?

Stayed at the Posada San Marin twice now - pleasant and modestly comfortable both times. Let the water in the sink or shower run long enough for the hot water to reach your room. You do not need to turn on the cold tap at all to wash your face or take a shower. Bottled water by the glass and... More
