I have only stayed there for a couple days, but everything was very good, clean and calm. (make sure to contact Rick before arriving - I forgot to do it and had to wait until he returned to the hotel) The place is well maintained by Rick and his wife - there are many place to visit and eat on... Jill and Richard are the best hosts! The place was very clean, beds were very comfortable, pool was cool even though the temperature was very high and it was very humid (late May 2014). We loved our stay and would definitely go here again should we travel back to Loreto one day.

Last May we went to Loreta and stayed at Las Cabanas. We rented the house that included the full kitchen and two master bedrooms. Everything was wonderful. We spend a week there and enjoyed having our coffee and breakfast on the veranda. Jill and Rick are fantastic host full of local knowledge. They directed us to great restaurants and helped... More

Went to Loreto in June 2014 to visit with friends and family. We stayed at Las Cabanas and had a wonderful time. Rick and Jill are so friendly and accommodating. This is a great place for families- my four year old daughter had a blast, spending most of her time in the pool, of course. We also really enjoyed using... More

My husband and I stayed in Las Cabanas de Loreto in June 2014. We have been to Loreto several times and have always enjoyed our stay at Las Cabanas. Everything is ultra-clean, they have a beautiful pool with lots of lounge chairs to relax on, the rooms are fully equipped with comfortable beds, microwave, refrigerator, tv, dvd player and come... We finally got a vacation to Loreto, and Las Cabanas it is everything I wanted. I love how Jill and Rick have crafted these Mexican bungelos. The rooms and the whole little complex keeps the authentic charm of a Mexican fishing town, but provides you with all the conveniences your American lifestyle needs to be comfortable and really relax. Jill... More

My wife and I stayed in Las Cabanas de Loreto in January 2014. We had been on the Pacific side in Magdalena Bay watching the gray whales. We got checked in personally by Jill and Rick and were immediately taken with the incredible photography in our spacious and beautiful room. Rick has traveled the world and his photos are amazing.... I've stayed in many hotels and I don't really write reviews but I had to because this hotel is amazing. Jill and Rick make you really feel at home. We were personally greeted when we arrived and the fridge was stocked with milk, cold filtered drinkable water, and beer. I will never stay anyplace else in Loreto.

We stayed in the beautiful casita for a week. We are vegan and like a kitchen and plenty of room to spread out. The 2-bedroom casita has everything we needed and it is homey and cheerful. Jill was exceedingly helpful before arrival answering many emails and setting up tour guides. Rick's spectacular photography adorns the rooms. We looked at other... More

This was our first time in Loreto and Las Cabanas is a wonderful place to stay. The cabanas are comfortable and very well supplied, the pool and courtyard area lovely and quiet, and the outdoor kitchen is fantastic. Owners have anticipated every need of travelers, from sun hats to snorkeling gear and homemade granola. They are very knowledgeable about the... More
