We returned last month from my husband and his twin brother’s 50th birthday celebration in Loreto, and all four couples on the trip are still raving about their stay at Las Cabanas. Rick and Jill are amazing hosts. They are incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable of Loreto and the surrounding area. They offered recommendations for restaurants, snorkeling, beach combing, fishing... more

I've been to Las Cabanas now five different times. Twice with clients/customers of mine and three times with family and friends. It's the only place I've ever taken groups of people and had everyone unable to find a single thing to complain about and swearing they would be back. We love everthing about the place. It isn't a tourist trap... more

This is "the" place to stay in Loreto. This was my third time @ Las Cabanas, each time was gorgeous, relaxing and well, perfect. The owners are not your usual business people; yes Las Cabanas is their business but it is also their life, they are a part of the city of Loreto. They live it, they love it, they... more

OK... in the light of the big hub-bub of not traveling to Mexico... I just had to sit and write my review for Las Cabanas de Loreto. First off you fly from LA to Loreto, no stops... get on the plane and 2 hours later your there. Catch a 15 minute taxi to Paradise... you don't have to worry about... more

On business I stay in many U.S. hotels such as Westins, Marriott’s, Hiltons, etc. and pleasant/secure surroundings with upgraded sleep systems are essential. This family owned - managed facility provides a quality comfortable setting with a home style feel in which to relax and if you need something, they will likely have it or help you acquire it. The grounds... more

The main house, an apartment above the garage, and 4 cabanas all surrounded by a tall wall with a pool, courtyard, and outdoor kitchen in the center. The accomodations were clean. Bottled water was provided in abundance. Our group laid by the pool, made excellent meals in the outdoor kitchen, and rode the provided bicycles all over Loreto. Jil and... more

You know it was a good trip when even after two weeks at home and back into the busy, busy work world, you still have the Mexican MoJo and are still raving about the accomodations and the wonderful proprietors! Four of us gals planned a 50th birthday with our dear friend who had never been south of the border. Not... more

We stayed with Rick and Jill this past January at Las Cabanas. It's right on the Malecon (waterfront). We pulled into the private courtyard to find a hidden oasis . . . everything clean, private, and relaxing! Rick and Jill were wonderful hosts, letting us borrow their beach umbrellas/chairs, books from the library, maps . . . they are not... more

We just returned from our third wonderful stay at Las Cabanas de Loreto in beautiful Baja Sur. This remarkable vacation destination just keeps getting better -- thanks largely to the efforts of our gracious hosts: Jill, Rick, Linda, and Les. They are quite simply the best hosts imaginable -- generous, warm-hearted, attentive, and very helpful. They are also eager to... more
