The Iguana Inn is a four bungalow complex two blocks from the main, pedestrian only, square in Loreto and also two blocks from the waterfront. It has secure parking and free wifi. It is close to a variety of very good restaurants and it is quiet. Rooms are large, clean, and well-equipped. There are several outdoor lounging areas, one with... More

Close to the shops and water , has a fountain and library and the experienced owners are very helpful and knowledgeable with local facilities. Large rooms have tv , inclusive wi-fi , fridge and coffee making facilities. Lovely and quiet. Highly recommended. David (UK)

Recently returned from almost two weeks in this fantastic place. The room was well presented, with comfortable beds and a small kitchen area. Coffee makings were provided and the room was cleaned daily and towels replaced. Shower was great with loads of hot water. The tap water is fine, but the drinking water barrel in the patio area was a... More

Me and my friend are travelling pretty hardcore, usually camping and sleeping on the ground. Here we decided to rest a bit and get a bit civilized again. That worked out very well. We ended up staying longer than planned, because it's all so relaxing. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and sitting outside on the veranda here is truly... More

We visited Loreto back in February and had an amazing time whale watching. We had so much fun we went back again in May. This time we went down to explore and enjoy the relaxing town of Loreto. The Iguana Inn is so centrally located, clean and comfortable that there really isn't any other place we would stay in Loreto!... More

We are recently returned from a 8 day stay at the Iguana Inn. We loved it! The central courtyard with its fountain attracts all kinds of birds, and is such a peaceful place to relax over breakfast or after dinner. Our unit (#1) was very clean and comfortable, with a big bathroom and huge shower with good water pressure. Having... More

Thank you so much for the most relaxing place I have ever stayed at. I love the fountain and courtyard. I would have been happy to just hang out and read and enjoy the birds the whole time. The rooms are spacious and the Hot water tank never goes cold!!!!! The location is perfect to be able to walk or... More

We stayed at the Iguana Inn when we arrived in Loreto. Julie was awesome and our bungalow was perfect! We stayed one night then went to San Ignacio and returned a few days later to stay for three more nights. The town of Loreto has lots to offer and the people are all very friendly. We did lots of walking... More

I can't understand why this isn't higher on the list as it is so perfect. Only 4 bungalows with 3 situated around a lovely courtyard and a fountain that attracts all sorts of beautiful birds. Our room (Bungalow 1) was lovely. Very large and included a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee, coffee maker, dishes and utensils. Bathroom was huge... More

I stayed at the Iguana for 10 days. The Iguana provides a VERY clean, safe and secure environment. My takeaway experience was an overall feel of tranquility while still being "in the center of it all". Only a short (2-5 min) walking distance from most downtown actives. The proprietors offer many "extras" such as microwave/cookware/coffee maker as well as bicycles... More
