The owner/manager Abel bought this place a year ago after retiring from 45 years of working in Los Angeles. Previously it was six small apartments so our room was large. I think many people miss this place because it isn't listed under hotels. Abel says it is the only hostel in Loreto. I guess the available kitchen makes it hostel... More

Although we didn't stay there, we met a fellow traveler who was staying their for four weeks and loved it. We visited and met the very nice owner, Abel. This is a great place to stay if you are on a budget, or just need a place to stay before/after a kayak trip. Very clean facilities with private bathrooms and... More

We stayed there for one night at new year's eve and liked it quite a lot. Although it wasn't the very cheapest location we discovered in a bit more of 2 weeks Baja California I would still consider it the best price we got. We found everything we hoped for, in fact even more. Clean, comfortable rooms, lots of space... More

I loved this place the moment I saw it, found of course while looking for Canipole Restaurant next block over, other side of the Mission. Senor Able is a most wonderful friend to all, his... More

We walked into this place while scouting for a hotel in Loreto for a 2 night stay during a cycling tour of 20 people (still to happen). We were not gonna stay in town since it was early and we still had to drive all the way to the border, but we decided that on our way back south we... More

I traveled Baja for about three weeks in March, 2013. I have a ton of reviews to write, but I made a point to make this review my first. This place is great! I stayed here two nights. The hotel is located in the historic district, close to everything. It's very affordable and the owner gave me a better rate... More

This hotel is single handedly owned and operated by a charming gentleman who is a great resource for the area. He goes above and beyond to insure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. It is a small but quaint hotel with the rooms all on one floor. There is a kitchen and small library. Internet is available and the hotel... More
