Having frequented many resorts mainly in the Baja Sur area, I found Loreto Bay to be good value and worth every penny or shekle... Be warned of the sting Rays as I had a handfull of frisbee sized Rays around my feet in shallow water yesterday... Curious little mackeral surrounded me this morning while swimming; good pool side Cobb salad... More

This place could easily be 5 stars under the right leadership. Love the location and the resort has so much potential. It's a shame. There appears to be no management or supervision within any aspect of the day-to-day operations. I wish the new ownership group would bring in a task-force to get things in order. Rooms are nice. Unfortunately, when... More

We arrived at Loreto Bay Resort with high hopes but quickly realized it was time to leave...the room we were given was dirty, with debris on the floor and the bathroom was even worse, also with debris on the shower floor. The grounds overall are shabby, the pool too small for a resort this size, the pool chairs/pads worn and... More

Still the location for a relax time after the great whale watching! The restaurant has still the quality and good service. This time we took the suite with Jacuzzi Good to have it but did not use it. Please watch the water. Sting rays are close to shore. Saw several injuries. You have to wear bathing shoes. Very important.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Loreto Bay! Staff was amazing. Had fun snorkeling, kayaking, and biking around Nopolo/Loreto Bay... Beach is nice and my wife loved paddle boarding in the bay and out around the rock. Recommend early as wind picked up towards the afternoon. (at least the days we were there) I am not a golfer... Although this resort is in the process of being re-opened and remodeled, what is done is very nice and the location is spectacular. The best thing of all was the staff. Everyone so helpful and gracious. Even though one restaurant is open, the food was excellent. We lacked for nothing during our weeks stay.

This hotel had a definite feeling of serenity. Plenty of palapas to lay under, uncrowded beach and pool, kayaks free, and gorgeous views. Since there are stingrays in the water, you do have to be careful how you walk in; there is a method. We kayaked off the beach, and it was perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful;... We didn't stay at the resort but we did visit the patio restaurant on two separate days, once for breakfast and once for lunch. The food was very reasonably priced and very good quality. The service was also very good. I will go back to dine there again when I'm back in Loreto Bay.

I was not familiar with Loreto and was looking forward to a good surf but I think the highest wave I saw the whole week was 12 inches. It is really shallow for a long ways out. Not their fault of course. There is some good snorkeling around the point and I even found a Titleist! I was there just... More

This hotel can only rely on its location... We had booked through Booking the villa and a junior suite. The villa was not available and they gave us a presidential suite instead. Although big with two bedrooms, the condition of the furniture, floors, bathrooms is just as if it was original and not revamped at all. This resort is clearly undermanned... The... More
