Although this sweet little hotel is well located for an easy walk to the Malecon beachfront, great restaurants, the central Plaza.....it is off the main street, down an alley, which turned out to be a perfect hideaway from the mid-day sun or night carousing noises. The place is beautifully designed for maximum privacy even though it is a small hotel.... More

this little botiuque hotel is truly a find. Rooms are small but lack nothing. Beds are comfy. Service is excellent. we have been coming here for a few years now and love it. two blocks from the main street and the zocolo (main plaza). They now have a parking lot! that was a surprise for us because we had to... More

Posada del Cortes is a small hotel (7 rooms) decorated in traditional Mexican style. It is really cute and looks like a villa that has been divided into individual rooms. It has a wonderful rooftop deck and a lovely patio on the ground floor (shared with other rooms, but never busy). It has a great location a couple blocks from... More

This little hotel (only seven rooms, I believe) was a breath of fresh air when I returned from rugged camping in the islands. The lovely building is situated on a quiet side street and arranged around a pretty garden courtyard. It's all decorated in an attractive Mexican/Spanish style, and the rooms are tasteful, comfortable, and clean. Also has a pretty... More

My wife and I arrived earlier than this hotel's normal check in time. No problem. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our ground floor room (room #3). Room was comfortable and wi-fi worked well. There was a small refrigerator, coffee maker & tea kettle in our room. There was a very pleasant courtyard with table and chairs just outside... More

The Posada del Cortez hotel is as a relaxing a place as you will ever find. The rooms are well furnished, simple, and beutiful. The rooftop deck and sitting area is wonderfully relaxing and affords a nice view of the surrounding area as well as the mountains in the distance. The only down side items of note are the lack... Moved here from El Dorado which is next door... see my review of El Dorado . Modern, comfortable and very "american" style hotel, Price is very good, management gave me 10% discount without any request from me (I always ask for discount along with viewing room before renting). I am writing this review from my room which is unusual for... More

Good boutique small hotel in great location in Town...so you can walk one block to the old part of town or 2 blocks to El malecon.. Superb atention ..... The hotel doesn't have heat and that was a problem for me since we travel in winter time, the hotel took our advice and promise to buy portable heathers for the... More

We stayed one night, three of us in one room and it was one of the best nights of our holiday . The Posada is charming and beautifully furnished and we even had a kitchette to make coffee and cook if we wanted, but don't go round the corner to the cafe on the right on the main street (can't... I'm not sure how my husband found this little jewel, but I'm thrilled that he did. It is small, unique, immaculately cared for we all the details off a high-end inn, without the high-end price tag. We loved the roof top which we used for cocktails, later for take-out pizza and wine, and the next morning for coffee. It's a... More
