We stayed four nights at hotel Oasis while spending a week kayaking in Baja. The location is wonderful right on the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms while very modest are comfortable and clean. The owners four collies were a calming presence. While newer hotels abound and feel like any other place, Hotel Oasis feels homey... More

Ok, because this was my first time in Loreto, I arrived two days ahead of the rest of my Sea Kayaking trip group to explore the area. Since the Oasis is the hotel that Mar y Aventuras uses in Loreto, it didn't occur to me to stay anywhere else. There were positive and negative things about the Oasis, and I... More

This is one of the oldest hotels in Loreto. It has old Mexico charm with its cobblestone terrace and palm frond roof over the terrace area. The rooms provide the basics: double beds, shower, night stand, TV with a remote that may not work perfectly, air conditioning that may not work perfectly, a pool that needs help, but: it is... The view from our balcony early in the morning was a delight and on the whole this was a good value hotel. Bird life in the trees in the garden is a delight. Sadly there was a big party for given by the mayor in the town hall behind, the night we were there. The noise from this seemed to... More

We got the Junior suite with King bed and a roll-away bed for our son. The location of the hotel is awesome. Right at the end of the malecon, a few blocks from shopping and restaurants and the beach right off the balcony. The manager Anna was really friendly and interesting. Her 3 collies entertained our son for hours. They... More

Stayed in a tucked-away building by the pool so noise was not a problem. The room was huge. Pet-friendly with resident dogs on the property. Nice restaurant with good food. The beach is not busy. It is not sandy either. The beach is more like hard, dry, cracked ground with rocks and debris mixed in... like a barren waste land.... More

The Oasis is not the nicest or cheapest place in town. It is one of the older hotels and it caters to all types. The location is on the south end of the Malecon and right on the beach. No place in Loreto has a better location, not even those bright new expensive hotels. The fact that I believe the... More

Noisy, palapa roofed rooms , disgusting pool, stayed one night on way south. Would never stop there again. Only chose it because we needed secure parking and we didn't inspect first. Was expensive as a walk up, bar was open late , noisy in the room. No hot water in the shower, staff didn't seem to care

My friend and I stayed at this hotel a couple nights before a camping trip on the islands. The best thing I can say about it is that the restaurant has good breakfast and the waiter was really great!! The rooms are very tired and the hotel needs a lot of updating. Beds are hard. Bathroom is old. Toilet clogged... More
