I should tell you at the outset that we did not stay here. We were in town for a day as part of a cruise port stop. A friend of ours suggested we look at this place. So my review is ONLY of the architecture and interior appointments, not of actually staying there. But for beauty it is incredible. I... More

Went down to Loreto by private plane for a whale watching excursion to Magdalena Bay. We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The standard room was clean and well decorated. The shower was full force and had plenty of hot water. The architecture and decor of the property is very Baja and refreshingly eclectic. Not to be missed is... More

We were on a group trip for gray whale watching and Posada de las Flores was the hotel pre-arranged for the before and after days of whale watching at another location several hours away. But, if we were going back to Loreto on our own, we would stay there again. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our accomodations were comfortable,... More

I gave the hotel three stars because it is beautiful, conveniently located and locally owned. The room I stayed in was hot and stuffy and the "AC" only circulated the room air. I could not get hot water for a shower. If you value comfort, go elsewhere.

If you are planning to do a round trip through Baja California you should definitely stay in the Hotel Posada de las Flores in Loreto. For me it is one of the most beautiful Mexican style-hotels in Baja California. It is located in the center of Loreto. The hotel staff is very helpful and kind. To get ready for visiting... More

We were staying in Loreto for a couple of nights and then a week at Villa Del Palmar 20 miles out of town. While in town we notices this hotel, walked through it and wished we had known about it before. It is so charming and beautifully decorated. The rooftop glass bottom pool is really cool and the views beautiful... More

Our hotel was just as advertised. Right in the center of town and walking distance to everything. Across the plaza from the first catholic church in Baja. Small hotel with great Mexico charm. Nice views from the roof but must look past telephone wires. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We opted for the suite which was a nice... More

I haven't given a hotel a "Terrible" rating in years, but if there were a lower category, I'd assign it to this place immediately. After a tumultuous 6 + hour drive from Cabo, we were anxiously awaiting the respite promised by some other TA reviews as well as a well decorated, well worded, glossy hotel web site. Our check in... As soon as we walked into this small hotel, I knew it was going to be special. The entrance and ground floor spaces are cool and welcoming. How amazing to look up and see the glass floor of the rooftop pool! The bed was so comfortable and the 'art work' in the bathroom was amazing - never seen a swan... More
