Facing the beautiful Sea of Cortez, Su Kasa is our favourite shore leave when sailing the spectacular islands here. We have stayed here several times over the last few years. We don't care for resorts, TV, swimming pools. We love the charm of the place--we have stayed in both the bungalows and the yurt. The property and the units are... More

We have stayed here 3 times so far and it has been great every time. Set across from the malecon on the beautiful Sea of Cortez and within walking distance to center of town (10 minutes) with the mission and lots of restaurants. Dog friendly, only 3 rooms available, One big apartment in front, a smaller studio behind, and adjacent... More

Sukasa is in a great location right across the street from the malecon on the Sea of Cortez in Loreto, Mexico. We stayed in Sukasa's yurt, a round wooden structure covered with canvas, that even had a skylight! What an experience!

If you're looking for the Ritz.... Keep looking! If you want a fun experience... You've found it! The Sukasa was a wonderful place to call home while in Loreto for a few days... The Price was reasonable. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great location close to everything. Don't miss happy hour at Augies, just across the street,... More

Recently stayed for a week in Loreto at Sukasa bungalows. The casita was well equipped, clean and quiet. The owner, Joyce, was a great hostess and was there for everything we needed and gave us the best recommendations for dining and tours. The rest of the family stayed in the yurt and loved it. If you are looking for a... More

If you are looking for a place to stay short term or long, then you better look into Joyce Clagget's place, Su Kasa. She's got something for everyone. Her bungalows are very clean and complete with everything you could need. She is very knowledgeable about the town and the vibe here is laid back and accommodating. We checked out a... More

We just spent a few days over Thanksgiving at Sukasa and could not have been more pleased. The bungalow was huge, was nicely furnished, there was a kitchen with everything needed and a huge comfortable bed. Even the bathroom was huge! The front bungalow has a large patio with chairs and tables overlooking the Sea of Cortez to enjoy the... More

My husband and came down for a short get away and ended up staying 3 extra days. The owner Joyce was not in town. We arranged the stay thru emails. , She had emailed me and told me to just take the front unit, and the door would be unlocked, this surprised me at first, but We were met by... More

I hate to give this place a bad review. We have stayed here in the past and have liked it. The noise level from the malecon at night was annoying and the local bar/disco/karaoke a bit annoying, but in the past, that seemed to stop at a reasonable hour. Sadly, this is no longer the case, and the general air... More

The original owners and managers are back at Sukasa after taking a year off for personal matters. We apologize for the unprofessional manner of the former business renting the property during your visit. At this time, the discos are closed. The malecon is being renovated with hopes of having a more "friendly and family" oriented atmosphere. However, the malecon remains the... More

What an awesome group of people at this place. Beautiful views, comfy and clean rooms, the awesome bar at your doorstep make for a great stay. Carmen makes the best sushi rolls, Delia makes the best margaritas. Although earplugs may be required at times, late at night, it won't keep us from going back!
