My Dad and I have been fishing in Loreto for the past 20 years. We have stayed all over Loreto at hotels including Tripui, El Presidente, La Mision and The Oasis. Dad and I stayed in a bugalow on our last trip to try it out due to rising hotel costs. Let me just say that we both feel we... more

My partner and I stayed at Su Casa in the Bungalow for a week in April. We had a WONDERFUL time. The owner, Joyce, is knowledgable about the area and city. She has great recommendations on everything from nightlife to dining to what tequila to buy!! It is located in a picturesque location, right on the Malecon, and gives you... more

We stayed at Sukasa for a week and loved it! The staff was helpful and kind. We loved being right on the boardwalk--everything was in walking distance. It was loud on the weekends, but no problem with our handy earplugs! No worries about security or crowds. The yurt was just the right size. We enjoyed spending time in the hammock... more

We stayed at Sukasa for a month in Feb. 2009 and had a wonderful time. The bungalows are pretty simple but adequate for our needs. The garden in very beautiful and relaxing. We met many other people staying a Sukasa and made some great friends. The location is ideal, right on the malacon. Our unit was the bungalow facing the... more

Sean & I began our baja honeymoon on a Sunday. Flying into Loreto from Seattle, via Los Angeles. Upon arrival, if there are only two of you, we have to recommend finding a van ride ($8 U.S. per person) into town, versus a taxi ($23 U.S. total). We spent one night in the oh-so-cozy Sukasa yurt and then moved on... more

We had a week off so we decided it was time to drive south down Baja again. In Loreto we wanted a place to stay on the water and checked out several places; touring each before we selected SuKaza. What a delightful place. Great staff. We even took a side trip to San Francisco de Javier Mission and they guided... more

We stayed for 10 days in Sukasa's quaint new yurt -- it was such a great experience! The tent is a 14' round canvas structure, but the amenities won't make you feel like you are in a tent. There is a full bath, queen-size bed, table and chairs, TV, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, plates and utensils...It is hard to imagine all that... more

I just returned from a 10 day stay at Sukasa Bungalows in beautiful Loreto, Baja California, Mexico. A small and at the same time a very personal facility. The owners; Joyce and Beth, treated me and the other guest like we were all long lost friends. I have never felt so at home, while being away from home, like I... more

I stayed in the Casita here for 11 days. While there is a lot of noise from the malecon on weekend nights, I could not hear it from the casita. The location on the very back of the property makes it quiet and private. The grounds and palapas are great for visiting with others and provide views of the Sea... more

It's sunny and 70 degrees in Loreto. We are back for our second stay at Su Casa Bungalows. It is a beautiful spot to unwind and relax, and work our way thru a stack of books. I am at the kitchen table in the front bungalow watching the pelicans and blue footed boobies dive for fish in the blue, blue... more
