We just returned from a four night visit to La Mision, Loreto. The Hotel has not been open long and when we visited the Hotel only had a few guests. Th rooms are lovely, if a little sparsely decorated. Very comfortable beds and very nice balcony with comfortable chairs. You must try the Restaurant. Great food and very reasonably priced.... more

This is the best hotel in loreto. The hotel was just completed this summer (2009). Earlier reviews when the hotel was not complete should be discounted. We had a great, week long stay. Everything was first class. Most rooms have view to the east over the Sea of Cortez. The resturant is very good for breakfast and dinner. Eat here... more

Flew down for 3 days of fishing, Two of us shared double room. Very happy with this hotel since "Inn at Loreto Bay" closed. Faces the Malecon (shore road). All rooms spacious, with covered terraces and ocean view. Close to main part of town - walk everywhere. They fixed early (6 am) coffee and rolls for the fishermen. Attentive staff.... more

Loreto was a destination we having been wanting to check out for about two years. We finally did it and oh so glad we did. I loved everything about it. After a long drive with young kids, all I wanted was a comfortable bed, good meal and a long afternoon at the pool ... La Mision was a lot more of what I expected! This hotel was great! The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated - I'm sure it helped that the hotel was pretty new while we were here, too. All rooms have a private balcony, and that made each day quite enjoyable! The service was great as well - Rudy, our bellboy, was outstanding, and Angie, the concierge was very helpful.... more
