Just came back from a 5 night stay at the CostaBaja Resort (Jan 24-29/2015). I'll go over some logistics around our trip then get to the hotel - promise! We booked off Jetsetter - first time booking off this site and it was seamless, though - be warned - our trip was completely non refundable. I'm not sure if this... More

We were greeted with "Welcome to Paradise" by a hotel employee. I was not about to be taken in by this bit of cliche, until I quickly determined that it was no cliche. If you are looking for a break from the mainstream, and are trying to 'get away from it all,' you should figure out how to direct yourself... More

Enjoyed our stay. We had a very nice room with an excellent view (I believe it was room #203). The room does have a very large and strange shower. Functional but the design is a mystery. The grounds are nice. The main pool, away from the hotel lobby, is fine. It gets busy and they can run out of towels.... More

The hotel is part of a complex. The main hotel has easy access to a nice sandy beach, with very few people on and good for swimming although there was no shade. The hotel was a nice pool with a swim up bar.The hotel restaurant served breakfast and lunch but closed in the evening so that dinner had to be eaten... More

We had a fabulous time. The property is beautiful and picturesque. The staff is gracious and friendly. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to La Paz. I especially loved the staff at the front desk--I can't remember all of their names--but, Alejandro (the manager) has his staff very well trained. They will do anything to help and care... More

The staff was amazing ! Rafael was a truly genuine nice gentlemen to myself and family. Our wishes to dive with whale sharks came true thanks to him.. the tours were sold out and he made it happen.. Also I would like to thank Alex for his hospitality and going out of his way to help us find a rental... More

I agree with previous reviews in that this is a huge resort of sorts - a main hotel, a marina, a condo complex and then several beach villas and hillside villas. I am currently in my 3rd night of our 5 night stay here at the resort while I write this review. My observations.....we are in a condo at Vista... More

La Paz is a very laid back and sleepy town. Don't expect it to be Cabo. Costabaja, is a very large master planned community, with a lot of amenities. Boating, beach, golf, and fine dining. We stayed at Vista Mar their condos. They have great views and are very upscale in the finishes. We played golf on their incredible golf... More

Stayed at Costa Baja for a week with friends. My 6th time staying there and again the experience was awesome. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. Only problem was that the showers were only luke warm in the afternoons...don't know why!! Love this resort...incredibly clean, great staff and excellent food at the restaurants. Will see you all again... More

The Costabaja Hotel has it all. A great golf course, a marina, spa and great restaurants. The staff were very good and eager to make sure your stay was flawless as possible. I had the seaside view from my balcony or you could get the golf course for a few dollars less. It is out of town but they also... More
