Wish I could have stayed longer--to walk on the Malecon, try fine restaurants nearby and enjoy the room and patio area of Casa Tuscany. Unfortunately, had a plane ticket. . . The entire place is tastefully decorated and there is much attention to the details making for a most pleasant stay. The bed was the most comfortable i'd slept in... More

We had a wonderful week long stay at Casa Tuscany. The delicious morning breakfasts, assistance with arranging outings in LaPaz (even swimming with whale sharks), comfortable surroundings with pleasant and responsive staff all made for a most outstanding visit to LaPaz. This place gets our highest rating as both a solace and the best location in LaPaz - short walk... More

Dear Richard and Jane, I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Casa Tuscany Inn. I wish I could have been there to spend a little time and get to know you, but a family wedding called me away. I am pleased that Joann prepared delicious breakfasts, recommended great places to dine, and arranged your excursions. Being close to... More

A friend and I had a wonderful week at Casa Tuscany before we were able to move into our La Paz rental. It would be difficult to decide which was best--the location, lodgings, Carol, the innkeeper, or the breakfasts, as all were definitely above and beyond. The rooms are colorful, clean, delightfully furnished. The lush, cool courtyard is a wonderful... More

Dear Lynn, Strangers are simply friends we have not met yet. That comes from a poem somewhere, or maybe Will Rogers said it. In any event, I find it often true with guests of Casa Tuscany and certainly true with you and Jan. What a delightful and fun time it was drinking wine on the patio, dining al fresco, stopping... The rooms were clean and well kept. The food was good. Ms. Dyer was most helpful with recommending places to eat and general city information. She had maps and showed me locations of various points of interest including the Marina where I was scheduled to take my sailing class from. She was very flexible with my schedule since I was... Dear Lindon, I am so glad your sailing class went well. I hope that means you will be getting out there on the open sea to enjoy the wind in your sails very soon. It was my pleasure being your host in La Paz. Thank you for your very nice comments and your positive review. I hope the winds bring... More

My wife and I stayed at Casa Tuscany Inn for two nights after doing a Kayaking trip on Espiritu Santo Island for four days. There could not have been a better place to complete a wonderful vacation in Southern Baja. Everything about this place is charming. The location (nice street a block from the Malecon), the building, the garden/courtyard, our... More

Dear Friends, What a delight to have you stay at Casa Tuscany. I found it interesting and enlightening to talk about your native country. I think anytime we can learn about other cultures we deepen our understanding and appreciation of them. I am delighted that you find the inn to be ideally situated for strolling the Malecon and finding fine... More

Casa Tuscany Inn is a beautiful, small and intimate place to stay. Each room is unique and very comfortable, the breakfasts are delicious and keep you going for hours, and Carol (the host/owner) is very lovely and helpful! It is in a great location, only 1 block from the Malecon and close to shops, restaurants and bars. There is a... More

Dear Bec, I so much enjoyed getting to know you and hearing about your world travels. Your tales of Cuba inspired me and friends to plan a trip in the near future. I really like the idea of the "home stays." When traveling for a long time and on your own, it is nice to find a place where one... More

Our stay at Casa Tuscany for three nights was perfect. Carol was a very gracious hostess. Her breakfast was a great start each day. We upgraded to the larger room off the courtyard as it was available. The inn is within Walking distance of very pleasant restaurants. We had a car and there was a parking g place exclusive to... Dear Camilla and Michael, Traveling as much as you do, you come to expect certain things - comfortable and quiet accommodations, good food, good location, reasonable prices, and friendly people. I am thrilled that you found all of this in La Paz. Being near the town center makes getting around so much easier - no hunting for a parking place... More

La Paz is a great place to stay for a few days, there is a lot to do---snorkeling with whale sharks, touring Isla Espiritu Santo, lazing on gorgeous beaches, eating at great restaurants---and you'll enjoy returning to Casa Tuscany Inn after all that. Carol, the host is very friendly and knowledgeable, and also cooks tasty breakfasts. Definitely a good choice... More

What fun! I am thrilled that you enjoyed your stay so much that a few extra days were possible. La Paz is such a peaceful and central area that it makes a great jumping off place for visiting surrounding communities such as Cabo Pulmo and Todos Santos. Thank you for choosing Casa Tuscany and for writing such a lovely review... More

I enjoyed staying several days at Casa Tuscany Inn upon arriving in La Paz. To begin the stay I was greeted warmly by Carol (the owner) at the front gate. The passageway along the side of the property opens up into a beautiful garden and courtyard area which can be seen from each of the four rooms. The decor of... More

Dear Kowgirl, I can't thank you enough for your wonderful review. Your kind words have me walking on air. It was again a pleasure having you stay at Casa Tuscany. As a frequent single traveler myself, I understand the desire to be in a safe environment, yet close to where the action is. The Malecon is certainly worth being close... More

Carol was gone on vacation, her friend JoAnn cooked us a wonderful breakfast with fruit and yogurt, juice and eggs. We had to leave early the next morning and she fixed us coffee and fruit before we left.

Dear JoAnn and Dean, I am delighted you had the opportunity to stay in La Paz and chose Casa Tuscany for your visit. I appreciate the referral from Jose Luis. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to make breakfast for you, but at least we got to meet before I shuffled off to the airport at o'dark 30! Joann... More
