We stayed at Casa Tuscany for one week while in La Paz and enjoyed every moment. Carol is a wonderful hostess, attentive to all of your needs, and never once repeated the same breakfast during our stay. Each breakfast gave us a chance to catch up with the other guests and to learn of their daily adventures and dining experiences.... More

You can't do better than Casa Tuscany Inn. Carol is an astoundingly warm and welcoming hostess who also happens to be an outstanding cook. Amazing breakfast is shared with the company of the few other lucky travelers in the inn, and it's hard to break away to go explore La Paz. The setting couldn't be better, one block from the... We were only in La Paz for one night but we couldn't have been more impressed. Carol was an excellent hostess with great information. The Inn is in a perfect location. The rooms were wonderful. Breakfast delicious. Can't recommend Casa Tuscany Inn enough.

Casa Tuscany was just what we needed for a 2 day business trip. Carol was a great hostes and took very good care of us. Flowers blooming on the patio and the shade from the trees and palapa was perfect. The only noise was from the carnival on the Malacon about a block away. Great place in the center of... More

Dear Jay and Trish, Being close to the Malecon has many advantages. It is great for walking and people watching, lovely for taking in the beautiful Bay of La Paz and the gorgeous sunsets, and perfect for walking to the many fine restaurants in the heart of La Paz. The Malecon is also exciting and alive each year during Carnival... More

This is intended to simply second the excellent reviews of others who have stayed at Casa Tuscany and of Carol, the hostess. It is a peaceful, secure haven in the middle of of La Paz, just off the Malecon. Breakfast is superb and the location could not be better. The Romeo and Juliet suite has a choice of lovely, private... More

Dear Ed and Jennifer What a grand time we all had. Thanks to you, Ed, for all the good advice to fellow travelers about getting up and down the Baja and maximizing time with the whales. Sharing your positive experiences is really helpful. Those headed North went with a good feeling about where to stay and what to expect. Hm...future... More

I totally agree with rockygirlOhio and her review of the Casa Tuscany Inn. Carol is a consummate hostess. While planning our visit to LaPaz she was generous in her advice and more than accommodating when we changed dates. Carol responded quickly to all our email inquiries which is a real plus as you start nailing down trip details. Carol also... More

My special thanks to you John, Leesa, and Mary for choosing Casa Tuscany for your La Paz visit. The whale watching this time of year is exceptional. I am so glad we were able to arrange that while you were in La Paz. Next time you must include the whale sharks and sea lions. They are waiting for you! Our... More

Wow... That pretty much sums up our visit to Casa Tuscany Inn! My husband and I took a little 10 day adventure to Baja California Sur. We decided to spend a couple of days in La Paz and had read wonderful reviews about Casa Tuscany Inn and chose this b&b for our stay. We were not disappointed! First of all,... More

Dear John and Marla Your timing couldn't have been better. Carnaval, the biggest street party of the year, is an exciting time with loads of entertainment, great food, games, trinkets for sale, and a down home parade. I am delighted you got to enjoy it. Your wonderful review and kind words have me walking on air. Thank you so much... More

We visited and stayed with Carol after winding down a week-long sailing trip. It was a great place to relax and spend a night. All of Carol's suggestions and tips were very helpful in exploring LaPaz. Her restaurant recommendations were spot-on! She was very accommodating with our schedule and even provided some tasty treats/coffee before we caught a early morning... More

Let me begin by saying that I am not the bed-and-breakfast type. I once read that B&Bs combine the worst aspects of staying in a hotel and staying in someone's home. That being said, I have to admit that I might be a convert. We had a lovely time in Carol's place. She was a gracious host with a charming,... More

Dear Gordon and Judith, The pleasure was all mine. It was delightful having you and friends gathered around the breakfast table, or afternoon wine, to talk about the day's happenings. I am so glad I learned a bit about orchestra conducting from your friend, the conductor. Aebleskivers are my trademark breakfast.. Having perfected the turning technique in over 50 years... More

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in every possible way. Our host, Carol Dyer, took good care of us, and an added bonus was meeting other interesting guests. Great breakfasts, great courtyard to hang out in, well-appointed rooms. We would love to stay here again.
