We went on a Kayak and camping trip to Isla Espiritu Santo off La Paz . Our travel from the caribbean was long and tedious but it all changed as we arrived very late at night and were greeted by Joann at Casa Tuscany Inn.It felt like we arrived at a relatives home. Next morning we sat down with Joann... More

On behalf of Joann (my inn sitter) and myself, thank you for choosing Casa Tuscany for your Sea of Cortez experience. Espiritu Santo Isla is one of those not-to-be-missed adventures. Most people make it a day trip, but you had the added pleasure of camping and kayaking at this jumping off place into the World's Aquarium. We are both delighted... More

After about an 11 hour delay because of plane malfunctions, this weary traveler arrived at this lovely place and was greeted by Joann who soon had me forgetting the previous 11 hours. Entering the gate to the courtyard and seeing the haven that Carol has created, gave me a sense of calm. Just what I needed. Mariachis were playing on... More

Dear Rosi What an ordeal you were forced to endure in getting to La Paz. Those flight delays can put a damper on anyone's vacation. Learning to sail is a daunting experience in itself. Thank you for choosing Casa Tuscany for your pre and post sailing adventure. Most guests find the inn a comfortable and pleasant oasis, a place to... More

Wish I could have stayed longer--to walk on the Malecon, try fine restaurants nearby and enjoy the room and patio area of Casa Tuscany. Unfortunately, had a plane ticket. . . The entire place is tastefully decorated and there is much attention to the details making for a most pleasant stay. The bed was the most comfortable i'd slept in... More

We had a wonderful week long stay at Casa Tuscany. The delicious morning breakfasts, assistance with arranging outings in LaPaz (even swimming with whale sharks), comfortable surroundings with pleasant and responsive staff all made for a most outstanding visit to LaPaz. This place gets our highest rating as both a solace and the best location in LaPaz - short walk... More

Dear Richard and Jane, I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Casa Tuscany Inn. I wish I could have been there to spend a little time and get to know you, but a family wedding called me away. I am pleased that Joann prepared delicious breakfasts, recommended great places to dine, and arranged your excursions. Being close to... More

A friend and I had a wonderful week at Casa Tuscany before we were able to move into our La Paz rental. It would be difficult to decide which was best--the location, lodgings, Carol, the innkeeper, or the breakfasts, as all were definitely above and beyond. The rooms are colorful, clean, delightfully furnished. The lush, cool courtyard is a wonderful... More

Dear Lynn, Strangers are simply friends we have not met yet. That comes from a poem somewhere, or maybe Will Rogers said it. In any event, I find it often true with guests of Casa Tuscany and certainly true with you and Jan. What a delightful and fun time it was drinking wine on the patio, dining al fresco, stopping... The rooms were clean and well kept. The food was good. Ms. Dyer was most helpful with recommending places to eat and general city information. She had maps and showed me locations of various points of interest including the Marina where I was scheduled to take my sailing class from. She was very flexible with my schedule since I was... Dear Lindon, I am so glad your sailing class went well. I hope that means you will be getting out there on the open sea to enjoy the wind in your sails very soon. It was my pleasure being your host in La Paz. Thank you for your very nice comments and your positive review. I hope the winds bring... More

My wife and I stayed at Casa Tuscany Inn for two nights after doing a Kayaking trip on Espiritu Santo Island for four days. There could not have been a better place to complete a wonderful vacation in Southern Baja. Everything about this place is charming. Dear Bec, I so much enjoyed getting to know you and hearing about your world travels. Your tales of Cuba inspired me and friends to plan a trip in the near future. Our stay at Casa Tuscany for three nights was perfect. Carol was a very gracious hostess. Her breakfast was a great start each day. La Paz is a great place to stay for a few days, there is a lot to do---snorkeling with whale sharks, touring Isla Espiritu Santo, lazing on gorgeous beaches, eating at great restaurants---and you'll enjoy returning to Casa Tuscany Inn after all that.
