Let me begin by saying that I am not the bed-and-breakfast type. I once read that B&Bs combine the worst aspects of staying in a hotel and staying in someone's home. That being said, I have to admit that I might be a convert. We had a lovely time in Carol's place. She was a gracious host with a charming,... More

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in every possible way. Our host, Carol Dyer, took good care of us, and an added bonus was meeting other interesting guests. Great breakfasts, great courtyard to hang out in, well-appointed rooms. We would love to stay here again.

If you would like old world charm and easy assess to the Malecon (boardwalk) in La Paz this is a perfect location. The owner is very helpful and will give you advice on where to visit and possible good restaurants around town.

Hidden behind a high wall just a stone's thrown from the Malecon in LaPaz awaits a warm welcome to Casa Tuscany from Carol Dyer..owner . A charming garden with colourful birds visiting the feeders provides the scene for creative breakfasts with fresh fruit and yoghurt where guests mingle and share adventure stories. If you want to swim with whale sharks,... More

Dear Jill, The pleasure was all mine in hosting you and your daughter. You have such an unusual and unique background, having lived in many different parts of the world. That makes you a great conversationalist and something I know the other guests and I appreciated. Thank you for all the good things you have to say about me and... More

This B&B made our stay in La Paz! Cozy, charming and convenient location and the owner Carol is the perfect hostess. Great advice on restaurants and attractions and the breakfasts are fantastic. Loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

Dear Lauren Your visit to La Paz and Casa Tuscany is now only a recent memory, but I trust one that reminds you of your great diving experiences, sunshine filled skies, warm days, cool nights, and thoroughly enjoyable dining experiences. I hope your hectic jobs allow for more visits to the area and greater exploration of the Sea of Cortez.... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Casa Tuscany in mid-November. It was our first trip to La Paz as well as a first experience staying at a B&B. It turned out to be wonderful. Carol is a great hostess and we felt like we were staying with family. Breakfast was delicious...starting with fresh fruit and yogurt as well... More

We can't say enough good things about Casa Tuscany. Our host, Carol, treats each guest as special. When we booked our room, my husband had not yet been diagnosed with emphysema, and we booked an upstairs room. Carol allowed us to move to a larger room on the ground floor for no extra charge. Her accommodations are lovely – comfortable,... More

This was our first time in La Paz and it was really important to be a good experience. After a lot of research on Tripadvisor we chose Carol's Casa Tuscany. It's great location, just a few steps away from the main promenade makes it a winner. You don't hear the noise from from Malecon ( the main promenade on the... More

Thank you for choosing Casa Tuscany for your July visit. Although experiencing very hot weather at the time, you managed well with visits to the beaches, whale sharks, and other outings. As you point out, being so close to the Malecon gave you the opportunity to really experience the city of La Paz and all its culture. In spite of... More

Casa Tuscany is a beautiful B&B with colorful and cosy rooms. We spent 2 nights in the Romeo & Juliet suite and we definitely enjoyed our time there. The lovely garden, accessible from all the rooms, is a secluded gem where the home-made breakfast is served, lighten up by little birds tweeting around you. Apart from the nice atmosphere, Casa... Dear Howard and Blanca You are the best! You choose Casa Tuscany for your La Paz visit, then you refer people you meet to the inn, and then you write a wonderful review on Trip Advisor. Thank you seems so small a response. That's why I say again, You Are The Best! It was wonderful having you and being able... More
