We happened to be at Casabuena during the same time as the previous reviewer. Our stay here was a very pleasant experience. In fact, we extended it by 3 additional days because we were so comfortable and relaxed and are contemplating a month's stay next year if workable. Our room was comfortable and clean...yes, basic as stated by others but... More

I was told I would have a room with a kitchenette. Upon arrival I was not given a kitchenette. I arrived late afternoon and got the room next to the laundry facility and next to the door leading to the parking lot. I had reserved the room several months in advance. It was noisy. I had 2 small dogs. My... More

This is the perfect place for a diver. Clean, quiet, nice pool, comfortable beds, a hose to rinse your gear and hang it. What else can you ask for, at this price, don't look else where. Sure, there are short comings if you want to find them, but you also find them in a Hilton or a Hyatt. I stayed... More

We stayed here three nights - my husband and I and two young adult kids. The rooms are basic and very affordable. We rented two rooms. The compound is very secure and you feel you have been invited into a family home. There is use of a kitchen including stove and fridge and fruit and hot drinks are always available.... More

I loved this place. The owners go out of their way to make your stay easy. One of several favors the owner did for us was take us to the police station to pay a parking ticket and get back the license plate from our rental car. So glad he did. Figuring out how to do this once we even... More

The owners are really nice and the people staying there all seemed very nice as well. It clearly caters to gringos. Be aware that it is extremely basic, but dirt cheap. The bed was old and creaky. The linens thin but clean. There is no TV or radio or clock or anything in the room. There is a shared kitchen... More

stayed here for 3 weeks. grounds are just beautiful with fruit trees. the owners are ready to help with almost anything. very safe and family oriented. had a wonderful time! we are retired couple and we enjoyed quiet peace and socializing with people all over the world, also. Good community church is on the ground which we also enjoyed.

I live part time in Mulege, Mx, a very small town in Baja BCS, MX. La Paz is 6 hours by road and the sights along the way are a visual delight. For the unaware, La Paz is a big city with Sears, Home Depot, Walmart and so much more. The beach front (Malecone) is incredible. Well, if you want... More

My husband I searched for dog friendly places with no luck. Someone finally mentioned casabuena and we love it! The owners, surroundings and tranquil feeling were just what we needed. Our dogs are in "Heaven" and we met great new friends! We were leaving yesterday but we decided to stay a couple more days because the owners have made us... More

We were delighted to be able to sta two nights at Casa Buena. Milton and Susu are great hosts and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The courtyard was secure and lovely to walk around. We love cacti and gardens and there was a lot to look at. Breakfast is fun with coffee, freshly cooked muffins, fruit and more. The... More
