This was a great place, very affordable, with a very laid back ownership. the rooms were clean, no frills, but there was maid service and good water pressure and plentiful hot water. you can put your rental car inside the compound gates, which is nice, as the surrounding neighborhood is rather deserted. there is wifi in the communal kitchen that... more

This place is clean, inexpensive and mellow. Even the animals are mellow. It seems to attract very nice people to it. Perhaps it´s because Milt and SuSu are exceptional people. They are very good people but not icky, gooey nice. Just good human beings. An example...when I got to the BaJa Ferry I discovered that I had forgotten my very... more

As a once and future cruising christian boater, the Casa Buena is the next best thing to being in La Paz on your own cruising boat. All the local knowledge to get the good eats and entertainment, and adventure of La Paz, as well as the business directions to make your trip profitable. Milton rescued me from a winter weather... more

Had a great time at the Casa Buena. The couple that run it were full of advise if you need it. Don't come here if you expect to be served drinks by the pool, I am sure there are other places for you. There are 2 very mellow dogs that greet you and a couple of playful kitties around to... more

Stayed 3 weeks in March. Very nice relaxed atmosphere. Owners (Milton & Susu) were very supportive and personal with info, referrals and service. Susu even drove my daugther to the bus station at 5:30 a.m. There was a computer for checking e-mail. Rooms were comfortable (good hot water)and the self serve breakfast (with multiple selections) helped keep expenses low. The... more

This is our second stay at Casa Buena. If you travel with a pet this is a perfect place to stay. It also has secure parking. This is a very laid back place to relax or a home base for exploring La Paz. Your host SuSu and Milton are gracious hosts and are able to answer your questions. more

I had the pleasure of staying at Casabuena for 15 days in January with a group of fellow eyecare professionals and students. We had a group that was quite diverse, and all enjoyed their stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a nice breakfast each morning with freash muffins and fruit, cereal and/or eggs. The B&B has a... more

My wife and I chose La Paz almost at random, and we really didn't know what to expect. TripAdvisor lead us to Casabuena, and it made our trip! The proprietors welcome their guests and create a family environment. This B&B offers a secluded feel from the hustle of the city, and has a compound where you can spend enjoyable time... more

I have stayed in a lot of places in my travels and this place is memorable. The layout of the place is perfect for a group. Even if it is a solo traveler, it is still nice. One of my favorite things about staying here were Cracker and Luna - the white labs. Of course they won't bother you but... more

We stayed at Casabuena with a large group of friends, all with children. Milton and SuSu gaciously showed us around and truly gave us an "insider" view of La Paz. We all kept mentioning that if we had gone to La Paz and stayed somewhere else, we wouldn't have had nearly as much relaxed fun as we did! It was... more
