This is a great spot on a wonderful little bay. Stand in the sand and look down to see all the fishes! Short cab ride to town, lovely dive shop next door, great staff. For the price, best location in La Paz. Gorgeous sunsets. Those are the 5 stars, now for the not so good: Insects, dead and alive, lots... More

This is a functional hotel if you are looking for a place to crash at night. There is great beach access from the hotel. The restaurant is okay but plan on eating other places. The parking lot will rattle your teeth.

I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, awesome breakfast and mimosas. Stocked rental service, my family and I were able to snokerl everyday, we were able to paddle board several days that we we were there. The fishing though was remarkable. This is not a tourist trap. It is however a kind... More

Stayed here to try it out for a night, since it's one of the closest to Balandra and Tecolote. First thing I noticed is the rooms are old and that includes old towels, which is not nice. But the whole experience just feels old. Service is bad, I went by the pool and even if the waiter saw me calling... More

On our anniversary we were greeted with excellent service by Gina at the front desk and upgrated to the honeymoon suite. We watched the Sunset at the Sunset bar had dinner at the their Restraunt. The next day we sat under the palapa and enjoyed the landscape of mermaid sculptures . A relaxing wonderful getaway with reminder of Why I... More

We stayed a week at La Concha on a timeshare exchange. It looks like they have 6 timeshare units and a lot of standard hotel rooms. I can't speak about the hotel rooms, but the timeshare unit we were in was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. One very large balcony where we ate breakfast, and another Juliette balcony, both overlooking... More

If you are staying in La Paz and want to go to a well kept and safe beach La Concha is an ideal spot. You can go on the beach, have your drinks and meals brought to you whilst you sit under the beach umbrellas and lie on the sun loungers. The swimming is very nice either in the pool... More

My wife and I took my daughter for her first ocean dice since getting certified last summer. We picked La Concha for the bayside location and proximity to a dive shop. The view was great. The restaurant was okay, but not great. Some of the servers were excellent and conscientious. No in room safes although there are individual safes you... More

La Concha "Beach Resort" is a misleading name – this place is definitely NOT a resort by typical resort standards, from Mexico to the South Pacific. There are no onsite activities, there is but a single mid-sized pool, no working hot tubs, just one onsite restaurant. It is actually a beachfront hotel (90 units plus a mere 6 condominium style... We stayed in a one bedroom suite with 2 baths and two balconies right on the edge of the beach. Spacious and comfortable - yes. Lavish with all mod cons and all the bells and whistles in the kitchen - no! We spent a week and just relaxed and enjoyed a laid back experience.
