Stayed here for five nights on a fishing trip with my buddy. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and the grounds are beautiful. Honestly can not recommend the on-site restaurant ('Fisherman breakfast' starts at 6:30, as fishermen are picked-up at 7. They don't seem anxious to start putting the food out until after 7, though...) The pool is nice, the staff... More

This is an older hotel. I have stayed here a few times now and plan to keep coming back. The location is great for fishing, golf at Costa Baja and the beaches out on the Sea of Cortez. The price is good and considering the location is great. I always stay in the top floors over looking the marina. It... More

make sure your free breakfast that they charged is in writing as it's embarrassing as to argue that is free with the waiter who say's it's not and your not a guest. Also don't stay on weekend during summer if your seeking a peaceful retreat. Pool full of screaming children as the hotel rents out the pool

Ended up here because my favorite spot in La Paz, La Concha, was sold out. I hadn't stayed here for a few years. The hotel is clean and basic, but that's what you get in La Paz...there are only a few luxury hotels in the city. Restaurant was improved from last time. Great views from the upper floors, but the... Stayed here because BOA uses it. This hotel might have been OK in its day, but its day has passed - long ago. Conveniently located by the Marina, that's pretty much all is has going for it. Not close to town, OK views but if you're enjoying them, you watch people walk by your room. Not super clean, takes about... More

we spent the week here while fishing with Baja Pirates. The hotel is very accomodating to the fishermen as they offer a full breakfast at 6 am with fresh fruit and juice as well as omelets made to order. The adjoining restaurant cooked our catch at the end of the day and did an excellent job. The hotel room was... More

A happy smiling face at the bar, helped me with my Spanish a bonus. Breakfast was excellent, as were the evening meals. Probably the only down side its a long walk into town, taxi reasonable though, but you do get to see the art work if walking, and a bonus was seeing the vultures close by on the beach. We... More

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff (except for one person on the night shift) were incredibly helpful and personable. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast is delicious, we also had a very good dinner sitting dock side. The sunset views were amazing and the layout of the rooms makes for a lot of... More

The hotel is old and hasn't been renovated in a while. The breakfast is expensive and basic. I don't consider it to be a 4 star hotel and it is too expensive for what you receive. On the positive side It has a great view of la Paz, but you can't enjoy it completely since you have to close the... More

We travel with the intent of doing some cooking in the room to save some money. Hotel Marina advertised in room cooking to save some money. Guess what. Frig didn't work. no pots, pans, plates, glasses, eating or cooking utensils. called the front desk, phone didn't work. Went to front desk to inform. That evening the Frig was fixed and... More
