We stay here as often as we can...cute, bright, comfortable. The rooms are large , different levels and different spaces of privacy....we perfer the top floor....there is only 9 rooms, quaint, sweet little garden, and the staff are very lovely and so friendly. Part of the Hotel is the Restaurant Zoe....a definite must for dinners and breakfast ! Love this... More

Clean comfortable room. The hotel had charm and the staff were very nice. They brought our drinks to the roof so we could watch the sunset and offered us use of the kayaks they had there. It's off the main drag a block, so very quiet area.

The place is clean and well cared for. Decent breakfasts (with very good coffee). The room was less charming than I expected and the bed was hard with flat pillows. Also our A/C would only run on full tilt or off (to be fair we did not notify the management of a problem). We only stayed one night and went... More

We have stayed at this friendly inn several times and it never fails to amaze me how quiet it is, just a few feet off the Malecon, even during Carneval. The rooms are spotlessly clean. There is a fridge in every room - good sateliite tv and wifi too, if you need to stay in touch. Lots of hot water... More

Perfect location, clean rooms, beautiful courtyard, great view from the sundeck, extremely friendly staff, and a delicious (free) breakfast menu. I can't recommend this place enough. I fell in love with La Paz and plan to return, and I can't imagine I'll stay anywhere else.

Lots of character - big windows to a small central courtyard.... Basic, hardish bed but it felt like we were really in Mexico. My favourite was the great coffee and a home made cookie. Nice touch. If you don't need a pool this is a decent place to stay, especially if you want to be close to the waterfront, where... More

From the day it opened 20 years ago, Hotel Mediterrane has been friendly and professionally-run, tucked away from the bustle and the Malecon, but close enough to offer views of the harbour. The management and staff are bilingual, knowledgeable and always helpful. As an added bonus, the restaurant is first rate.

Rooftop sunset was beautiful! Coffee/muffin breakfast was delicious! Found the location to be perfect walking distance to malecon and events. Felt safe walking day or night. Would recommend for adventure travelers who want to be close to the downtown action.

This is a small hotel that is basic, but very comfortable and it has some of the best breakfasts and dinners we had on our trips. Breakfast is included each day and we had dinner there two of our three nights. The people are friendly. We had an upstairs room with a view of the malecon from our tiny balcony.

We always head to this friendly little hotel when we go to LaPaz. While the rooms are a little spartan, it is, after all Greek themed. The rooms are just fine. Everything you need is there and clean. The people are friendly. Joel makes great coffee! They welcome well behaved dogs. So close to the Malecon and all the restaurants.... More
