We really like to visit La Paz, and the Hotel Mediterranean is perfect for us. Half a block from the Malecon, great restaurant (Zoe) attached to the hotel, excellent coffee and breakfast, fine bilingual service from friendly staff. I like a firm bed and sleep like a rock when staying here. I'm here right now and loving it!

The staff are definitely what elevate this hotel to a higher rating. Joel and Hannibal were incredible. Hannibal brought a warm towel to my room after I got caught in the rain - very thoughtful. Joel in particular made my trip better than I could have hoped by getting me sorted with tours when my arrangements fell through, recommending restaurants,... More

Fantastic location (not a block from the malecon, close but not too close to the center), simple and aesthetically pleasing decor, friendly and helpful staff, great roof deck for sunsets. I would certainly recommend a room upstairs if available. We look forward to returning.

WE had decided to stay in La Paz for the four weeks mid December to mid January. We had found the Mediteranne Hotel via the internet three years ago and its position and facilities seemed ideal for us . Its location near the Malecon and was perfect and to discover that they were running the Nespresso coffee system similar to... More

Simple but stylish euro-mex flavor. Felt safe and comfortable. We made good use of the courtyard kayaks as we just carried them across the street and into the bay for an easy sunset paddle before a delicious dinner at Zoe's!

Recently I was on vacation in Cabo San Lucas. Hurricane Odile changed our plans and after a few days of pure survival in Cabo we finally made our way down to La Paz. The manager, staff, and accommodations were great! They helped ease our minds of the situation we found ourselves in and helped us enjoy a few days of... More

I stayed here for a week in August 2014, as an alternative to the larger hotels in (and outside of) La Paz. This is a smaller property a half-block up Allende from the beach/malecon. It is clean, and well-maintained. Actually, it was spotless. The rooms are simple, the mattresses firm, and the housekeeper is a champion. There are two kayaks... More

We stay here as often as we can...cute, bright, comfortable. The rooms are large , different levels and different spaces of privacy....we perfer the top floor....there is only 9 rooms, quaint, sweet little garden, and the staff are very lovely and so friendly. Part of the Hotel is the Restaurant Zoe....a definite must for dinners and breakfast ! Love this... More

Clean comfortable room. The hotel had charm and the staff were very nice. They brought our drinks to the roof so we could watch the sunset and offered us use of the kayaks they had there. It's off the main drag a block, so very quiet area.

The place is clean and well cared for. Decent breakfasts (with very good coffee). The room was less charming than I expected and the bed was hard with flat pillows. Also our A/C would only run on full tilt or off (to be fair we did not notify the management of a problem). We only stayed one night and went... More
