My sister and I stayed here over the July 4th weekend. We had driven by the hotel before and decided to give it a try. The building is very old, but has some charm. We like being on the top floor but had to pay the price of hauling our luggage up 3 flights of narrow stairs, no elevator. The... More

The hotel is in a great location. The bars and clubs are within walking distance. That pretty much gives it 2 stars. Other than that it was awful. It was extremely hot in our room, which made it uncomfortable to sleep in. No air circulation whatsoever! They provided a fan, but that didnt help because the window was so ridiculously... More

Stayed in October for 2 nights with the wife whilst backpacking through Baja. Room on the top floor, pleasantly surprised to have a large balcony overlooking Ensenada and for the price of 450 mx a night, very pleased. Close enough but also at a good distance away from the tourist zone it is a nice spot. Room came with large... More

The hotel is in a great location, but it is awfully disappointing! :-( The carpet is dirty I mean sticky disgusting dirty. I didn't even dare to walk barefoot. The sheets & pillows were stained so I didn't know if they were even clean. We made reservations with a credit card and we end up paying more because we were... More

The hotel is two blocks from the main restaurant and club area. The hotel is clean, it has lack of amenities. For example, our room did not have AC. But the price was over 60 USD per night. So, if you are looking for something simple and cheap this might be an option.

This hotel was very affordable for our quick weekend getaway in Ensenada and has the best location in the city. At only $40 a night, we were only about 2 blocks away from great bars and food and it felt like a natural central spot in the city. Obviously it is not going to be a palace given the price,... More

This place is a little gem! If you don't speak Mexican, ask for Mike because he is very friendly with a wealth of knowledge about Ensenada. The rooms are clean and safe; Lonely Planet guide complains that they are claustrophobic, but we think cosy and bathroom is big. Location to tourist strip is good; however, walking in the opposite direction... More
