Located at the quiet end of first street therefore was a 10 minute walk from the main tourist area . There are few street lights around therefore I would advise to bring a flash light if walking at night. We arrived at the check-in time however were told that it would be another hour wait for an available room which... More

Stayed for 2 nights with group of 50 during a car rally thru Baja...The staff was very friendly with most speaking English. The pool area was very nice but the rooms, hallways, bathroom, etc are in need to be updated...The same goes for the casino..The food was good and the prices are very reasonable. Good location with secure parking lot.

The lobby is very nice, but the casino is awful and our room was horrible. Besides the spartan amenities inside the room, the bedcover had pee stains on it, there was only two electrical outlets accessible in the room, one of them powering the TV set had exposed wires, a fire hazard. One of the locks on the dooor had... More

They've started renovating the hotel (it needs it) but at the expense of the guests: we heard drilling and hammering from 8:30am to 6pm. And they don't tell you there's a noisy renovation going on when you make the reservation. The pool and jacuzzis are huge but the water is not super clean. The jacuzzi water is not very hot... More

It's a really cool place to stay. they recently upgraded the swimming pools, plenty of parking. We always go down for the Bicycling race that starts in Rosarito. I will definitely be booking a room for the next trip we take!

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. We have been to Baja and Ensenada many times but never at this hotel. I like the location of the hotel as it is close to the Municipal beach and not too far from the bars and action. There was a really fun festival at the Rivera Civic center a block down... More

First off the wifi sucked and you could only get it in the lobby and pool area. We stayed here a whole week and were honestly very disappointed. The staff was very rude and uunhelpful. Also the food was WAY overpriced for the quality. It sucked and no wonder that restaurant was always empty. The only food part of the trip... More

Large pool was good and parking is secure. However, the room was extremely dingy and gloomy. The closet had dust and spider webs. The carpet in the room and throughout the hallways was old and dirty. The photographs on the hotel's website are truly deceiving. What a disappointment! It is most likely an overpriced 2-star hotel. Ensenada was our first... More

Service is very good/excellent. Hotel is pricey. Rooms are not clean. The carpet was filthy. We had mold in the shower, hair on bathroom floor and cracked toilet seat. The water pressure is great, best we've ever had. Ice machine never had ice. Now for the good. The maids are very nice and helpful. Isaac our bellman was very good... More

We return every year to Ensenada and stay at San Nicolas. Although the rooms never seem to change, the owner has done a major remodel to the pool area. There are now three Jacuzzis, two new seating areas, and an upgraded pool. This is a nice change to an aging hotel. The rooms are spacious and generally clean. Security at... More
