I stayed here for 3 nights while diving in Statia. For the price it was OK value. Modest but clean, very simple rooms with hot shower, fridge and an excellent wifi connection. If you're here for diving and do not spend your days in the room it is an OK place to stay. The staff vas very friendly, too. There's... More

Because we didn't want to spend a fortune on rooms that we would only use for sleeping, we found the Country Inn. Reservation was quite hard as the emails to the tourist shop went unanswered, we called and made it by phone. We didn't receive a confirmation by mail (as there was no internet) we called back a week or... More

I was planning jus to spend 1 night in St. Estatius during my travel in Carribean. I was searching for non-expensive but still comfortable enough accommodation in St. Estatius knowing that after I will be spending enought time in Marriott resort in St. Kitts. Sooner I realized there are not many choices in St. Estatius. I got only one response... More

We stayed a week and enjoyed every moment. It's very basic, but clean and roomy. About the size of a Comfort Inn Room, but divided into two areas, the bedroom (and I found the mattress very comfortable; the sheets are changed every second day) and a sitting room with a day bed, fridge and table with two chairs. Plus a... More

We included Statia, the 'Hidden gem of the Caribbean' into our vacation plans after having read a wonderful review of the island in Lonely Planet guide. It could be because we arrived just between Christmas and New Year that the island was so sleepy, but maybe not. We were greeted warmly at the airport by a lady from the tourist... More

St. Eustatius, or "Statia" as it is known by all, is one of the least-known islands in the Caribbean, despite being only a short flight away from overdeveloped and overtouristed St. Martin. Once on this tiny island, the rare tourist will enjoy an impressive historic heritage, pristine coral reefs (and nary a diver in sight), well-organized hiking trails to breezy... More
