After an 1 ½ hour trip on an average bus, provided by the hotel, so it's not like they didn't know we were coming. Still waiting 1 ½ hours later to check in. Can't possibly complain about the service. There isn't any. You seem to have to go thru some sort of pre visit speech. However they only seem to... More

The resort is set on a beatiful plot of secluded white sand beach with clear water, but it is not particularly well run. Their IT systems are very poor so they could never find my reservation when I was calling in advance of my stay. In addition, few parts of the resort allow you to charge things to your room... More

It was my first time in an all inclusive with I personally do not like. This was my first good experience of it and with family was excellent. Not crowded in January which made it pleasant and good rooms. Make sure you ask for the ocean view rooms. For an all inclusive I can say it was a good experience... More

I really enjoyed my stay at Royal Decameron. The resort is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Beautiful beach with white sand. The service is great, everything is made to satisfy the guests. The food is good but not the best, however one can't really complain. Negative: the gymnasium is a bit small and full in the morning. I booked... More

We stayed at Baru for one week. The hotel is located on the isle of Baru, near Cartagena. It is about one and a half hour drive from the airport. The food is exellent and the staff friendly and helpfull. They have their own private beach. Unlike the beaches of Cartagena the sea here is calm but it gets deep directly.... More

Its a drive fom Cartagena and the road to the resort is not paved. Once you arrive you are surprised by the natural beauty of the area. Beautiful and spacious rooms, plenty to do, very nice beaches and good service. Special rates available for all inclusive Resort. Very nice Spa with reasonable prices Cons: extracharge for early checkin, checkin time... More

My wife and I stayed at this great All-Inclusive resort at the end of last month for 6 days. The overall experience was very good. We wanted to spent most of our vacation at the beach and we accomplished that. We arrived in the evening by bus from the airport. It was a 1 1/2 hour ride. Our check in... More

Colombia is getting all the attention lately, with its soccer team, the new Miss Universe and now its beautiful beaches. This is the perfect place to be away from the city noise and crowds. The rooms are clean and almost all have some kind of ocean view, ask for upper level rooms, also recommended VIP Ocean front rooms about $30-$40... More

We were staying at Decameron Cartagena and we paid for a day pass in Baru! It was beautiful! The hotel is wonderful... It has perfect and clean pools, thousands of beds for sunbathing! The beach is private so it's clean and safe. Our day pass included lunch, that was super nice, and unlimited drinks, we strongly recommend the "piña colada",... More
