We booked this at extremely short notice via booking.com, after 5pm for same night occupancy, at £72 B&B. The inn is based in a small village which has beautiful views and is very picturesque. There are sheep wandering down the high street, very olde world. We were given a friendly welcome, and were allocated room 1, which is at the... More

We stayed for a couple of nights on a walking break. Nice and cosy place to stay. Bedrooms very small but the bar was nice and the food was good, even if not too cheap. Breakfast was fine but (foreign) staff seemed to be a bit 'lost in translation'... WiFi was advertised as available but signal was awful, mostly inexistent.... More

We booked as a bit if a last minute break, the setting is beautiful, beautiful scenery and felt so relaxed! I loved seeing sheep walking freely around the village, just added to the relaxed pace of the area! We got a warm welcome at the pub, the room was nice, had everything we required. The pub is lovely, had a... More

We were passing through this area for one night and stayed at this lovely village pub after pre booking. What a charming place, and the evening meal from the substantial menu and hearty breakfast the following morning was we believe excellent for the price. If you stay on a Sunday night, as we did, a bottle of house wine comes... More

We stumbled apron this delightful pub while on a day trip in the area. We were warmly greeted by Jude the land lady and spent a considerable amount of time putting the world to writes before we realised we had not ordered our lunch which was delicious and such good value for money. Neither of us realised we had ordered... More

Arrived on route from Scotland having booked some weeks before. Found the location easily enough, thanks to sat nav, and the village is delightful providing you don't mind sheep that wander throughout and the inevitable droppings they leave behind them. Had to hunt for someone to show us our room eventually finding success in the kitchen. Room was perfectly acceptable... More

We recently spent 4 nights at the Moors Inn. The staff were all very friendly and the service at breakfast and in the bar in the evenings was of a high standard. The rooms were pleasant although the room we had was looking a little tired and in need of decoration.

I came here last week at end of June 2014 with a friend for a meal that we had looked forward to as we had had this place recommended. I had ordered the pork fillet in a brandy sauce with vegetables. My problem was that the pork was served very pink and I personally choose not to eat pork that... More

What a lovely place to stay. The Landlady was there to greet us as soon as we approached the door and was very friendly and professional in her manner. We were staying there as we were going to the Paul Weller concert in Dalby Forrest, as were the majority of guests that night. The room was spotlessly clean, as was... More
