We have just spent a weekend here with our little dog, in room 7, which was warm, clean and had a lovely hot, powerful shower over the bath. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we loved the little touches - homemade biscuits with our tea and coffee making facilities, homemade ice cream with our pudding, and home made chocolates... We went for a 1 night stay just to round off my partners birthday a couple of days before. Traveling from Leeds on the Saturday afternoon it rained all the way up but as soon as we entered the Inn we lit up with the cosy warm room with the roaring fire, our rooms were not quite ready as we arrived... 4 of us stayed there for one night and were joined by 2 friends for dinner. Rooms very good, clean, comfortable bed, good bathroom, wi fi, Great setting, in the middle of an old and very quiet village. Downstairs a very friendly pub atmosphere, good food - nothing fancy, very good wines at reasonable prices. Excellent full English breakfast including... More

The staff were very friendly and the food was of a great standard and the real ale was wonderful. Very pet friendly with a nice breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable although the shower did keep going cold when neighbouring rooms used there bathrooms

My husband and I (along with our cocker spaniel) stayed here for 3 nights in early Sept and had a fantastic time. The staff at the Moors Inn were incredibly friendly and helpful, and would do anything for you. The room we had was a large double, which was fine size for us and our pooch. Shower and bathroom was... More

We booked this at extremely short notice via booking.com, after 5pm for same night occupancy, at £72 B&B. The inn is based in a small village which has beautiful views and is very picturesque. There are sheep wandering down the high street, very olde world. We were given a friendly welcome, and were allocated room 1, which is at the... More

We stayed for a couple of nights on a walking break. Nice and cosy place to stay. Bedrooms very small but the bar was nice and the food was good, even if not too cheap. Breakfast was fine but (foreign) staff seemed to be a bit 'lost in translation'... WiFi was advertised as available but signal was awful, mostly inexistent.... More

We booked as a bit if a last minute break, the setting is beautiful, beautiful scenery and felt so relaxed! I loved seeing sheep walking freely around the village, just added to the relaxed pace of the area! We got a warm welcome at the pub, the room was nice, had everything we required. The pub is lovely, had a... More

We were passing through this area for one night and stayed at this lovely village pub after pre booking. What a charming place, and the evening meal from the substantial menu and hearty breakfast the following morning was we believe excellent for the price. If you stay on a Sunday night, as we did, a bottle of house wine comes... More
