We were passing through this area for one night and stayed at this lovely village pub after pre booking. What a charming place, and the evening meal from the substantial menu and hearty breakfast the following morning was we believe excellent for the price. If you stay on a Sunday night, as we did, a bottle of house wine comes... More

We stumbled apron this delightful pub while on a day trip in the area. We were warmly greeted by Jude the land lady and spent a considerable amount of time putting the world to writes before we realised we had not ordered our lunch which was delicious and such good value for money. Neither of us realised we had ordered... More

Arrived on route from Scotland having booked some weeks before. Found the location easily enough, thanks to sat nav, and the village is delightful providing you don't mind sheep that wander throughout and the inevitable droppings they leave behind them. Had to hunt for someone to show us our room eventually finding success in the kitchen. Room was perfectly acceptable... More

We recently spent 4 nights at the Moors Inn. The staff were all very friendly and the service at breakfast and in the bar in the evenings was of a high standard. The rooms were pleasant although the room we had was looking a little tired and in need of decoration.

I came here last week at end of June 2014 with a friend for a meal that we had looked forward to as we had had this place recommended. I had ordered the pork fillet in a brandy sauce with vegetables. My problem was that the pork was served very pink and I personally choose not to eat pork that... More

What a lovely place to stay. The Landlady was there to greet us as soon as we approached the door and was very friendly and professional in her manner. We were staying there as we were going to the Paul Weller concert in Dalby Forrest, as were the majority of guests that night. The room was spotlessly clean, as was... More

Stayed in the pub for 2 nights in early June. In total 8 of us staying for a short walking holiday. Jude who runs the pub and the rest of the staff were very freindly and nothing seemed to much trouble. Fantastic pub with comfortable and clean rooms. All of them seemed a good size. Breakfast was great. On the... More

Just returned from a one night stay with our recently rescued terrier, who is still learning how to be sociable, we were all made very welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar in the evening and had breakfast in the morning....absolutely delicious and worth visiting just to eat. Location is great, quiet & relaxing, enjoying watching... More

We stayed over night at the Moors and were please with it as we had only booked that afternoon. Arrived late evening and after being shown to our room we went to the cosy bar for a drink and were made very welcome with a friendly chat. The welcome tray was great and had a good selection of what you... More
