The hotel can be described in two words: it's fine. The rooms and the pool are ok and it's only about 1 km walk to down town Ao Nang for it's bars, restaurants, nightlife and the shopping. The only bummer is the walk back to the hotel, the road lacks of proper lighting and there ARE poisonous snakes just outside... More

We stayed at this hotel for a week in November 2013 and although we had a pleasant week exploring the surrounding area we found the hotel grubby, tired and very dated. We travelled to Ao Nang after spending a fantastic 3 days in Bangkok, this hotel was not a patch on the 4 star one in which we stayed there.... More

We stayed 5 nights in November. Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the town centre but very cheap tuk tuk ride. Good restaurants across the road. Room was clean and comfortable. Air con worked well. Very helpful staff and excellent service. We bought our day trip tickets from the lobby, and the reception staff arranged our airport transfers. Would... More

I came to krabi in the middle of island hopping and we were all extremely disappointed with both krabi and the hotel. We left early after getting bad feelings. It is located in a very strange area which requires a big walk to get anywhere, even the closes 7/11 or restaurant. And the road does not have a path and... More

I stayed here for 5 nights last October with my friend and her parents. From start to finish our stay here was fantastic! Having previously travelled around Asia and stayed in hostels, this was beyond luxurious in my opinion! Even if you aren't comparing this hotel to a hostel in the area.. I'm confident you'll be very pleased with the... More

On arriving at the excellent resort you will be struck by the magnificent Thai lobby. The staff immediatly make you feel at home. The Hotel offers shuttles to beach and shops and also has its own very private and lovely beach club. My room was large. Clean and comforable and had all the mod cons I needed. The Wifi was... More

We arrived with a little trepidation given some of the recent reports but overall we were pleased. Ok, most of the staff didn't speak great English but we actually found most of them very engaging. Besides we actually thought it's their country! Most of the other complaints we found to be rubbish. Yes it's off the beaten track- if you... More

Stayed at the Krabi Thai Village for 5 nights in May 2014 - low season so not very busy - maybe some were scared off by the political situation, but in reality this was never an issue anywhere we saw over the entire trip. Deal was booked through Getaway. Well all I can say in terms of organization, if you... More

Krabi was the first stop of our Thailand adventure and arriving at the hotel with its wooden thai architecture immediately put us into a THAILAND HOLIDAY VIBE. The staff was very friendly -from the porter to receptionist to the guest relation. Always smiling and willing to help. The room we had was huge- big balcony , bed and very comfortable.... More
