The hotel was clean (for being in a third world country), away from the busy street, right on the beach and offered decent food. The hotel is next to many other hotels where you can wander for a bite to eat or a massage. The beach has monkeys roaming freely. We enjoyed our stay.

We selected Golden Beach Resort based on its location next to the Ao Nang Beach and went there with a slight bit of apprehension as some of the TA reviews have been anything but complimentary.
