There are a few bungalows, some are older than others. We stayed there for rwo nitghts. The beds are old and not comfortable, the bathroom is old and stinky. We paid 1100 Baht a night, for that price you can find better place to stay, I think. *The pool is big and pretty good. Also it is 15-20 minutes walk... More

The room was clean, the staff quirky and the pool lovely. Maybe over priced but certainly the place was no way near as bad as the many reviews I read. Actually I rather enjoyed my stay and if you want food head up towards the mosque and eat at the restaurants there. Great food, friendly people and not inflated prices.

I truly do not know where to begin. We were totally mis-sold this hotel by a tourist office in Bangkok (more about them later). We were told that this was a lovely hotel and that strings had to be pulled to get us in especially over the new year. We were shown the hotel brochure and it all looked charming.... More

Young married couple staying in room B4 for 2 nights. Lots of Mosquitos, geckos, bats, frogs and cats. But then you're right by a lake so these things are expected. Not a bad location. 5 minute walk to the beach. 60baht in a tuk tuk into the town. Fab pool. Very clean. Breakfast also good. Rooms could do with a... More

we stayed here 3 nights and I cannot stress the importance of NOT STAYING HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! the people who run it are rude, unfair and will rip you off at any chance they have. the main guy who speaks the 'best' English attempts to sell you things everyday (scuba diving, day trips, ect) and will do all he can to charge... Like others this was booked for us via one of the tourist places in Bangkok. I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone. We both got covered in quite a few bites every night. We were in one of the shacks with no ac and asked to be moved to a bungalow with ac. This room was slightly better but the... More

A friend and I are backpacking at the moment and were heading down to krabi so went to the Bangkok train station to get a ticket. We went to the info desk and were escorted upstairs to buy our train tickets at what seemed like the legit booking area for the station. The girl booking for us did the train... More

We booked lakeside for 3 nights with a travel agent in Bangkok station. What an absolute con. We paid double what we have normally been paying on our travels in SE Asia and this by far was the worst place I have ever been unfortunate enough to step foot in. The bungalows are up a dirt track which make you... More

We booked this place via the government ran ITAT (Tourism Authority Thailand) office in Bangkok, in the hope that we would (despite what seemed to be a slightly higher price than expected) avoid any form of mis-selling. The brochure that we were shown looked good, and we were also informed that the brochure was slightly outdated as a pool had... More
