Been here for a few nights when travelling around Thailand and the place was good. The bungalows are straight on the beach which makes the place really cool. There are not many bungalows, which makes it not noisy and calm. The restaurant serves really good food (variety and choice is great) and I think we had the best Pad Thai... More

This is a one star place with a awesome simple expierence. The people are cal peaceful and a month here drifts past. The sand is course broken shells and the smallness is comforting. This is not where you get that postcard beach - its not that kinda place. The bungalows are really cheap and the food is wholesome filling and... More

We went as a family of 3 adults and 3 young children and squished ourselves into 2 of the front aircon bungalows. The accommodation was basic but great for the price and the food was freshly cooked. The kitchen is only open certain hours in the wet season so if you are looking for beers or a late night snack... More

We went there with friends (about 3 years ago), two family, we stay 1 night 2 rooms. One room no blanket. We ordered local meal, stirfried prawns and green beans cost 450 baht and sour curry baramundi fish cost 900 bath. What's a lip off. Cost us 8,700 baht for2 rooms 2,400 baht. For 4 adults and 3 kids under... More

The location is pretty remote so be prepared to stay put. The beach is ok. Coarse sand. The tide goes out early so not great for swimming. Hammocks, huts and plastic garden chairs provided. Fantastic sunset views. We had a beach front bungalow which was very basic. The AC in our room had a plaster attached to it, flapping in... More

We stayed there for 3 nights unfortunately we were ill for a lot of it as we'd not long come from Laos and it seems many people suffer the same problem but anyway, the basic fan room was fine if I'd go again id get the air con tho, food was nice private beach was lovely and above all the... More

Stayed here for 3 days. The price was competitive and you get what you pay for. The bungalow we got was a bit small and showering was awkward but the area was amazing. The beach was beautiful and quiet. The food was also amazing and cheap compared to other places around Ao Nang. It is a quiet area too which... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a short 2 night stop here in mid January. It's advertised as being in Ao Nang but it's actually about 20 mins (500 bhat) outside. We were aware of this and booked it specifically for that reason. It's a perfect place to relax on an unspoilt beach with no distractions amid a busy... More

I intentionally book this hotel to be a bit away from the busy area to be quiet vacation. I got my wish and more. The place is very isolated and there are absolutely nothing around within walking distance. Ao Nang is the closest city and about 20 min drive. If you feel like being very very quiet holidays then this... More

Pine Bungalows is quite secluded, so if you are looking for a party area, lots of shopping, etc this will not be the place for you. However, for peace and relaxation, this place is key. The bungalows are alone on this beach (so rare in Thailand), and while swimming is only good at high tide, the beach is itself is... More
