The resort is old. Room size is ok however a lot of mosquito and the utensils in the room are not clean, found the cup were dirty and not clean properly. Swimming pool is dirty too. Only plus point is that it location is near the centre of Ao Nang. With the price offered, there are many choices nearby the... More

We booked the duplex room that's located on the top floor of the hotel. We were impressed by the size and interior of the duplex unit and feel in love with it instantly. However there's a new hotel under construction just beside Red Ginger so if you want a peaceful stay, perhaps you could request a room that's facing the... More

We stayed at Red Ginger Chic Resort for nine nights. Reception staff kindly upgraded our room to pool side 4th floor. We also stayed 3 nights in Pool Access room. Pool Access room was a bit out dated, old TV and room could have been cleaner. On 4th floor we had great room in 2 levels, this was cleaner and... More

Lovely hotel. Staff very attentive (asides from the reception staff)! Pool good and clean and pool bar was fab! Good sized rooms and fairly quiet. Would definitely recommend. Visited with kids all over 18. Would recommend the local excursions to islands.

We stayed at the Red Ginger for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked a pool access room which gave us the best of both worlds. We could either lounge on our patio or swim across to the sun beds on the other side. The hotel is not beach front but we knew this when we booked and... More

While booking, no one will tell you, that next door someone is building a new hotel, and 12 hours every day there will be hammering and drilling!!! What is even worse: the hotel staff is highly unwilling to assign another room at the quiet poolside. Not sure what the management instructions are, but that is clearly respectless to the guests.... We are about to leave after 11 nights in this hotel and we loved it... Pool area is very nice, the restaurant breakfast offers a fair option of Asian and western food for breakfast plus the egg station, also had dinner once and food was good. Happy hour in the pool bar between 15:00 - 16:00 and specials for lunch... More
