This review is extremely late. I visited the Aree Tara Resort early in 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed myself. If you choose this hotel, make sure to get the poolside access and arrange for massages in your own room. I'd say my stay here was one of the main reasons why my trip to Krabi was top class.

The room was nice and modern and a good price compared to other expensive options around town. Reasonably close to beach and Main Street. Unfortunately for this hotel, and most on the street, there is A LOT of construction going on which can be loud at times. Nice pool, but not in the sun.

The staff is always smiling. The breakfast is really good and its situated in a good place. At only 300 mts there a beach, although its not a nice onr you can see very nice sunsets. Next to it there a construction going on, but you dont hear anything.

Located on the heart of Ao Nang and you can still feel the peaceful ambience in this hotel, 5 minutes walk to the beach and to the culinary area. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. They have nice pool. We can only use the wi fi with great connection in lobby area. It's very worth the price to stay... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night. This place have quite good location, near the Ao Nang beach. The staff are very helpful and nice. It was raining all day and fortunately they could lend us umbrella for each of us. The room was clean and spacious. And the bed was also comfortable. There is no free WiFi at... More

The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. We did have a small problem with mosquitoes but nothing a few sprays of bug spray couldn't fix. The breakfast was good and the tv and wifi made the one rainy day we had bearable! The bathroom was lovely, with a large bathtub and separate shower. The pool area was quiet and clean... More

Being offered the connecting room since we have booked for 2 rooms, taxi service to air port and overall staffs are friendly. Seems only a few staff can speak English, but not able to provide information such as air port tax. Probably it would be better if the staff are equipped with such knowledge. Breakfast are nice

this property is only 5-6 years old and is well maintained. The hotel stuff was very friendly and i got upgraded automatically from superior room to Deluxe garden facing during my stay for 4 days 3 nights. This is a good choice to stay given the cheap price. PROS : 1. Deluxe garden view at the 5th floor(top floor) gives... More

We showed up prepared to rock it in Krabi (as much as you do with a toddler anyway), when I was struck with some sort of flu. This turned out to be a great hotel to convalesce in. It's comfortable, quiet, and clean. The staff are good about letting you bring in food and are quick to pick up the... More
