Really beautiful hotel! Surrounded by greenery and wildlife. There was quite a climb to our room however, which was a bit of a challenge with our huge backpacks and the sun beating down on us! But we later discovered that there was a baggage lift (that we took advantage of us when we were leaving). The location was a little... More

We hadn't been aware that we would have to take a boat to Railay Beach. There were a few people in the same boat. Literally. We were all in for a mystery ride! Google Maps had shown a road, but they said it was a private road so so boat it would be. Didn't take long. The tide was coming... More

I stayed for one night here whilst I was travelling Thailand with friends. This resort is probably the furthest away from anything on the island with a pretty steep climb up to the actual rooms (granted if you want a view you have to work for it) so beware if you are taking a suitcase. Check in was fast and... More

My boyfriend and I are currently staying at Railay Garden View Resort, we have been here for nearly 2 months and have another month still to stay, we are both in agreement that this is the most fantastic resort we could have chosen for our stay in Krabi. The resort itself is wonderfully located, set a little way up from... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. its little far from Railey east, need to climb some stairs but totally worth it. You can see very good view of the sea (from sea front room), you get complimentary breads, coffee and juice (like a breakfast anyway) and its quiet, peaceful and relaxing.....

First thing, the address on this listing is wrong. It's in Railay, not Ao Nang. Pros: -quiet, beautiful, affordable accommodations on the the far east side of Railay -unlimited free water, free coffee and tea 24/7, free toast and jam for breakfast in the morning -close to affordable restaurants and bars -close to the maurijuana bars (pro for those looking... Yes, it it true, the location (in a leafy area with views over the east side of Railay "beach") is nice, and yes, the rather small huts are without airco (but with a fan) and without warm water (but do you really need it ?), the breakfast is as basic as can be (bur for free) and the steps to... When we booked our stay here we were really excited and had read many good reviews. A few days after some less positive reviews popped up and we became a nervous about our stay here. I would like to clear some of these negative reviews up. Railay itself is on land but only accessible by boat. Depending on the tide... More

We stayed here for three nights and had a very good time. Our bungalow overlooked the water and you could see the cliffs and jungle which was amazing, for that we thought it was great. It is on a steep incline and when it's raining it can be a little slippery going up and down. Also when you first get... More

We stayed 3 nights at this place and was very pleased with the cosy bungalows and setting of the resort. Close to the cliffs and jungle, monkeys and other wild animals occasionally wandered around the area rising the overall mood. The place was also further away from the beach than other resorts, which we preferred seeing as Railay is small... More
