We were in the area visiting relations so it was just a quick overnight stay here, the lady at reception for our checkin was very pleasant and efficient. Room just right for the one night, although the bed was a little soft. Decor was a bit dated but overall a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens - would definitely stay there... More

A truly lovely old hall. Beautiful grounds. Fabulous service. Wonderful food. Just a little tired and in need of an upgrade. The sofas are a lovely idea in the sitting room, gorgeous window seats, lots of magazines to peruse on a Sunday morning. Just please get some new furniture and carpets. This is a gem of a place and the... More

This was our 2nd visit and we still love it. It has a lovely old fashioned charm that we find so welcoming. The building is beautiful, the staff are friendly and attentive and although I have seen other reviews bemoaning the dated decor, for me this merely adds to the relaxed feel of the place. To modernise would destroy the... More

We stayed here on a Sunday evening and having travelled 4 hours we were ready for the bar and dinner. We were really looked after. The food was excellent. I thought it very well prepared and the flavours wonderful. We had a drink in a large sitting room which overlooked the grounds, in comfortable armchairs into which I sank gratefully.... More

Had an overnight with a friend. We had excellent service from the moment we arrived and this continued throughout our stay. The hotel is beautiful. Be sure to ask about its history as it is very interesting. Reasonably priced drinks at the bar. We enjoyed breakfast but did not have an evening meal. Speaking to another guest, we were told... This hotel is in a grand building in spacious grounds but needs investment in the internal decor, staff training and a new kitchen team which is trying too hard and failing. Lincolnshire has excellent produce so don't overcook it and don't let the chef think he is French when he isn't, "keep it simple stupid" should be the mantra. There... More

The hotel is a lovely old building with pretty views. The lobby and bar area are particularly nice but the rooms are dated and need a re-vamp. The shower in our room was not good , it took ages to regulate the temperature and it wasn't very powerful. The double bed was two singles pushed together that squeaked a lot.... More

This is simply a gorgeous place to be. Friendly staff, super rooms, and the pool is just lovely. Excellent food too. I enjoyed mackerel with bacon and spinach to start with, followed by pork belly in a pea veloute. We then had Irish coffees in one of the very comfortable sitting-rooms. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

Situated in peaceful parkland, Branston was a good place for a relaxing, one night stopover. Our room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom and fluffy towels. Dinner from the bar meals option was top quality. Service was always helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble. We were only sorry that we didn't have time to make use... More
