As a family of 10 across 3 generations, we booked all 4 rooms and enjoyed our overnight stop here so much that we booked again for our return journey. The house is a delight and the rooms spacious and lovely. Jean-Philippe, Lucy and the boys are so welcoming and the breakfasts were great, especially the jams! The setting next to... More

Stopped over on a business trip to northern france. JP made us very welcome. We stayed in the Moroccan room - which was lovely. My wife commented on the high quality bed linen. We enjoyed our fleeting visit. You are staying in a family house with JPs family, we thought his was lovely, but may not suit everyone.

We stayed here as an overnight stop on route south to our holiday. JP & Lucy were so accommodating and friendly and run a warm, friendly traditional French bed and breakfast. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the views from the house overlooking the lake were just fabulous. Absolutely highly recommended and we will definitely be booking again.

The location was very convenient for an overnight stop, the village was lovely and we would also like to visit nearby Vitre, having heard JP's recommendations. Couldn't fault the room or the welcome, and very much enjoyed all the home-made jams at breakfast. We look forward to staying again on our next trip.

Having spent 11 nights camping in Brittany we decided to have a couple of nights at a chambre d'hote and looked at Vitre as a good destination. We went on to tripadvisor and found this gem of a B&B nearby. We booked 2 bedrooms for 2 nights. JP and Lucy were excellent hosts, managing the balance of making us feel... More

We rented 2 rooms for 2 nights here with JP,Lucy and the boys. Bathrooms lovely clean and a good size. Irish room on the road side of house, but not bothered by road noise. Moroccan room on back with lake view. As they now longer do evening meals, they allowed us to have a picnic tea at the dining room... More

This is a really lovely traditional French house and the owners JP & Lucy (and lovely boys) are very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our evening meal was simple and delicious. Would definitely stay here again if in that region.

A wonderful welcome, good clean room with great views. I regret that we were not able to enjoy JP's dinner, as we had not booked in time. However breakfast was very good with lovely home made jams etc. Good tea too!

We needed a stopping off point on our way home and as I dislike packing and unpacking for one night we decided to stay three, but where! As usual I consulted the Trip Advisor and found a gem. I can't really add to the other reviews apart from to say they are correct. A lovely large old Breton House now... More
