The place was beautiful. We were charged 250 kr for 1 tent, 2 cars, and 4 people for 2 nights. The pub and bistro served nice food,if not slightly overpriced. It also had free Wi-Fi and some board games. There was a run down park but it was okay for the time being. The showers were cold, but the facilities... More

In General I have to say that the Place was nice. But the Service and the toilettes / Showers NOT. It was very Dirty and i would recommend wilde Camping in This Case. But for One Night at this Great and beautiful Place it was worth to Stay there!!!

FIrst of all, there is not many places to choose from so it's hard to be picky in these parts of Norway. We were three friends renting a small cabin for the weekend in order to go the Kjerag hike. The room we rented was small and spartan but cleanness and size was acceptable. The things that pulls in disfavor... More

We were charged 1000 Kr for a cabin and told that the campsite was unavailable. Fair enough, it was not 'in season' but not even allowed to pitch the tent? The cabin was a good size but badly neglected - entire bathroom stank of faeces, bedding was worn, proprietor was blunt and unhelpful - did not listen to or answer... More

Me and one friend were camping here for two nights in one tent. We payed 270 Kr, for the car and the tent and we did not say how long we were staying there for. (Probably for as long as you wish to stay). There are showers (10 Kr for 6 minutes), toilets and kitchen if needed with most equipment.... More

"A captive audience" just about sums up the experience of staying at this campsite. We had kayaked up Lysefjord from Stavanger over a few days and enjoyed some fantastic wild camping. On arriving by kayak at Lysebotn, although we were lead to believe that you could camp anywhere in Norway, we were met on the shore by large signs declaring... More

We decided to camp at Camping Lysebotn after doing the hike to Kjerag - only because we needed a nice warm shower and we were trying to save the water supply in our camper-shower. We were now used to Norway's high prices and had been lucky to be able to freecamp for 99% of our time in the country, and... More
