We stayed as a family, one of our party was in a wheelchair and it was perfect, we hired a shower-chair and a hoist and they were both great saved a lot of space in the car. The cottage was lovely and clean when we arrived and we were greeted with a fresh loaf, wine, scones & cream tea really... More

You know when you return somewhere you had a lovely holiday you risk disappointment: well, not here. Jonathan takes good care of guests with a warm welcome, his homemade bread, scones, jam and wine. We were blessed with sunny weather, perfect for walking through the farm, to Cothele. This was a magical day, exploring the gardens and the mining history... More

I have just spent a week at the Hayloft, one of the above farm cottages. We were warmly welcomed and told we could arrange bedrooms as we wished. Jonathan was lovely. The accommodation was fantastic, clean and very welcoming. Every item you would need already in place with faultless linen and a large spacious lounge. I am paralysed from the neck... More

We spent 4 weeks at Todsworthy Farm in The Cider Press and enjoyed brief stays from family and friends whilst we pretended we lived there! Hubby is paralysed front shoulders down so we take lots of equipment on holiday but we hire the hoist at Todsworthy so that's a huge bonus. The peace and quiet is wonderful, as are the... More

The cottages have been converted to a high standard with easy access and a good downstairs layout for a wheelchair user. We stayed in Haycroft and waiting on arrival was a cream tea (tasty scones with cream and jam) home made bread, a bottle of wine with other essentials ie. milk, along with a warm welcome from Jonathan. The cottage... More

Wonderful place. It's been difficult for my Dad to get away since the onset of his Parkinsons. But this place is amazing. A really nice, good quality conversion topped off with everything to make accessibility easy. My Dad thoroughly enjoyed himself and really benefited from the extra independence he had whilst staying here. I cannot recommend this place enough. And... More

It is very difficult to find suitable accommodation for my wife with her disability but our cottage, Hayloft was absolutely superb - very spacious, very comfortable and easy to live in. Hayloft and Cider Press are in an attractive setting down a short drive off a country lane. Jonathan and his family were very helpful and supportive, and keen to... More

I agree with all the other reviews. Ideal for everyone and everything has been thought of. Lots of walks for countryside lovers suitable for someone using a wheelchair. The Granite Way is lovely. The path from Padstow to Wadebridge is good but can get busy especially at weekends.

This farm cottage was a great find and a break we will remember with fond memories. It is set amongst peaceful surroundings along a country lane next to the farm. It is centrally located and so makes an idea place to visit. We stayed in Cider Press which was very homely, warm and tastefully decorated. We cannot rate it highly... More

We were absolutely blown away from the moment we arrived. So much space and well laid out. Modern and bright and very welcoming. The children settled in straight away and loved their twin bedroom with its own bathroom. Mum and Dad took the double on the 1st floor - large and airy just perfect for them. The downstairs bedroom and... More
