Stayed here the evening of my friends wedding, room first allocated was not one we paid for, allocated correct room. Then found dead wasps on bed and Bessie table, confused, rooms are warm especially in summer weather and can be uncomfortable so request a fan. Bedding was stained and appeared dirty, told throw on bed had blood staining in it!... More

I stayed for one night whilst on business in the area. I wanted somewhere close to a village/town so I wasnt confined to the hotel, and this fit the bill, being a 10 minute walk from the pleasant town of Lymm. The hotel is signposted on the road from the motorway so was easy to find. It looks like a... More

Stayed here for one night for a friends wedding it not a bad place to stay can be quite pricey an staff can be a little too eager at clearing tables I'm still shocked at them taking my £8 glass of wine when I had gone to the toilet!! Other than that it's not been too bad

Nice location in quite village with easy access to cycling/walking trail. Several good National trust properties nearby and easy access to North Wales and Liverpool area. Plenty of car parking spaces. Menu and service were both very good.

Stayed here one night although not first time. Used as base for family reunions and sadly funerals. We did request ground floor room on arrival as my mother has difficulty walking so very pleasant receptionist changed rooms but were still in first floor with several steps to negotiate and over a not too even path outside Still we managed Room... Stayed in this hotel as part of a coach tour for 4 nights. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The meals were all wonderful, very well cooked and using the best ingredients. The manager was away when we were there and a temporary manager, Steve Burley, was in charge. He was excellent! Very hands on, helping staff and... More

Have stayed at the Lymm hotel three times in the last three years in the beautiful village of Lymm in Cheshire. The hotel is your typical English country hotel but also has a modern feel about it once inside. We have not eaten there in the evening as it looks quite expensive and there is a lot to choose from... More

If noisy plumbing, stained grout in the bathroom, no air conditioning, patchy wifi and used cotton wool buds in your "luxury" hotel room are your thing, then this is probably a good choice for you! I don't know if the hotel has only recently been taken over by the normally excellent Macdonald Hotels group, but there is certainly work to... More

Lovely hotel and the food is first class. My only criticism is no aircon in the room. And its a very hot summer day so, I had to open the window all night but the village of Lymm is such a noisy place on a weekend. But that's a small criticism and I would defo stay again!
