I have just spent the bank holiday weekend at the Falcon Hotel for my cousins wedding - which was also at the hotel. i recently stayed at the falcon and was pleasantly suprised! after the negative comments i was trepadatious to say the least however after seeing the room and meeting the new management i would definately come back! you can see that colin, the manager is trying to get the hotel back up to scratch and the staff are brilliant, extremely helpful... Booked in for a one night stay, glad I worked late as it meant I didn't have to stay here any longer than needed. My room was dirty, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, whole pub looked like it had been neglected. Gave the rest of the town a bad impression.

been here for years and confused as to why there was the problem. the restaurant was empty .we did not complain we just eat and paid and left 2hrs later!.

Sat night at 10.15 & all that was in the place were the staff and a few of there friends . All blaring out from the jukebox. Vodka tonic served in a half pint nonic glass seemed to sum the tired old place up. If you stay here best of luck I would say.
