Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The meals were beautifully prepared, and delicious. Our host and waiters were friendly and offered ideas on things to do in the area. The museum was good, except that it was in french. The displays did have bilingual signs. I would suggest visiting the museum; it is educational and worth it. The town of Wendake... More

My husband and baby decided to make a trip form Toronto specifically to stay at this hotel. We loved the idea of it and it looked like a unique experience. However, for how much we spent this turned out to be a bad decision. I should mention that we were there for 2 days and it rained the second day.... More

Without exaggeration, our family felt honored to be with the Huron-Wendat people during our stay in Wendake. Theirs is an amazing story of oppression, struggle, and more recently victory and resurgence. This hotel is surely one of their Crown Jewels and exactly the type of cultural experience we wanted for our young daughters to help them appreciate the fact that... More

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. Great location so you can easily walk to stores, restaurants, trails. The personnel was very friendly and courteous. We had a room with a door which opened to outside which made it convenient to go outside with our golden retriever. The room was quite large and the bathroom was huge. Fridge in... More

This has to be one of the best hotel experiences I have had. From the reception through to the bedrooms, the bar, the restaurant it's beautifully designed and appointed, spotlessly clean, and has a calm, relaxing ambience. All bedrooms face the river with great views to the rushing water below. We had room 109 with excellent ensuite facilities, great free... More

My wife and I came to this hotel with a package after staying at the Ice Hotel. We really enjoyed it. My boyfriend decided to book a last minute trip for our anniversary on February 11, 2014. It was a hotel de glace and hotel musee combo pack.
