Weekend visit at this hotel. The architecture is beautiful. The beds extra comfortable. The charms of the "first nation" is well balanced. The service was excellent. We ate at the restaurant "La traite" inside the hotel and it was delicious. We also took the guided tour of the museum and found it interesting. Very nice stay, I highly recommend it.

Our family trip to Quebec city exceeded expectations. We enjoyed our stay in The old city, but this paled in comparison with our stay at the First Nation Hotel at Wendake. The building itself is stunning- a large and inviting fireplace surrounded by armchairs greets visitors, with glass windows overlooking the attractive exterior. The rooms are lovely- large and well... More

Our party of four 60+ women signed up for an Ice Hotel "package deal". The evening at Hotel Musee in Wendake was simply an add-on; a night to relax after all the Ice Hotel sleepover excitement. Our expectations for Hotel Musee were low, we just wanted to relax ....and relax we did. BUT, the Hotel Musee was a gorgeous place!... More

We just spent 3 amazing days/nights at this hotel-museum and we will come back, probably in the summer! This hotel is so unique because of its authentic decoration, lovely people (95% of them are wendats), excellent restaurant and so many activities for all ages to do around (guided tour of the museum, Wendat Myths and legends, night in the traditional... Very surprising place. Beside the fact that it is a little far from Downtown Quebec. This is a must see. Rooms are large, i suggest the 105. All of them with a view on the Serpent River. At night during winter they do a " feu de joie" outside. Just love this place. Must say restautrant la traite is also... More

Kwe, Located 14 minutes from downtown Quebec City, the Hotel-Musée Premieres Nations is in the heart of Wendake. Its true, all of our rooms face the beautiful Akiawenrahk river. Did you get to see the Kakir Kouba Falls? What a great sight, frozen in winter and powerful with loads of water during summer. Thanks for coming to see us and... More

That visit was just a wonderful discovery for me. I had been always perceiving the "Hurons" as being a name of proudness and strength. When playing as a child, this name sounded like the braves natives of Northern America. I here learned that the name "Huron" given to them by the first Europeans actually was hurting their proudness due to... More

Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The meals were beautifully prepared, and delicious. Our host and waiters were friendly and offered ideas on things to do in the area. The museum was good, except that it was in french. The displays did have bilingual signs. I would suggest visiting the museum; it is educational and worth it. The town of Wendake... More

My husband and baby decided to make a trip form Toronto specifically to stay at this hotel. We loved the idea of it and it looked like a unique experience. However, for how much we spent this turned out to be a bad decision. I should mention that we were there for 2 days and it rained the second day.... More
