We had our first trip to Aspen House in August, but it definitely won't be the last! We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, having booked the room through a Smartbox voucher. Sally came straight out to greet us at the car, and immediately made us feel welcome. She showed us our room, and then made us a cream tea (part... More

This is our second trip staying at Aspen House, the first time we stayed here was because circumstances meant it was the only suitable place. This time we reurned because we wanted to! Sally and Rob are passionate about ensuring that their guests are comfortable and WELL fed. They use only locally sourced, real food and for me the first... More

Beautiful setting, friendly accomodating hosts and a delightful breakfast that would shame any five star hotel. Fantastic rooms with very comfortable beds. A real gem.

As part of our deal we had a cream tea waiting for us, served on the verandah in full sun, listening to the birds. A fantastic and relaxing way to start our weekend. Our hosts were lovely and knowledgeable. If you want a beer, the pub opposite is fine but if you want a lovely evening meal go to the... More

We chose Aspen House as part of a Wedding Gift voucher offer - and we're so pleased we did. We stayed for one night earlier this week and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. We found Rob and Sally very interesting, chatty and also wonderful hosts in their B'n'B. They answered all our questions on the healthy lifestyle... More

Set in a beautiful village location the scene was set for a relaxing break. Sally and Rob immediately make you feel at home with warm cosy rooms that offer great views across the countryside. Cream tea on arrival was delicious as was our organic breakfast . Good to find caring people offering such a great experience.

Have not stayed in a B & B for years, doubtless still traumatized by memories of Les Dawson-esque dragons in curlers and horrid aprons from days of youth, where the words "customer" and "service" were, if recognised at all, mutually exclusive concepts. Well if there are any other B & B's out there even half as nice as Aspen House... More

Aspen house is everything a B&B should be. We had a nice, clean room, the owners where friendly and helpful and they served a superb English breakfast. This is probably the best breakfast ever with home made bread, scrumptious cheesy flops, home grown tomatoes and organic juices. On the website they say you can have evening meals but don’t count...
