My family and I stayed at the resort August 9 and 10, 2014. We originally reserved Trailer 10 since everything was booked. When we arrived we were upgraded to cabin 6 which would better suit my family. I was very impressed with the accommodations and really enjoyed the screened in porch. The grounds were immaculate. My only concern was the... More

We stayed for a couple of nights and Greg was very helpful. The campground is small, but that was just fine with us. Very friendly people and VERY clean place. Washrooms and shower were spotless always!!!! We had a beautiful view of the lake and we took our fishing boat and were able to dock it at the campground's docking... More

We stayed in cottage 5 for a week in July, and our friends were in cottage 6. Since we have 3 preteen children, having a bedroom with 3 beds (bunks and a single) for the kids is really important to us. There was plenty of space in the cabin to sit, eat and cook, and lots of space outside for... More

We stayed at the campground in July and were pleasantly surprised. In an era of almost treeless, “sardine can” campgrounds; like others we saw around the island, The Mindemoya Court Cottages & Campground is a wonderful refuge. With only 17 tent/trailer sites and maybe another 15 cottages, it is nestled in an old growth Maple, Birch and Pine forest. It... More

My husband and I stayed in a camper's cabin last summer right before July 1, which is apparently the busiest time of the year for vacationing in Canada. Everywhere we looked on the island places were totally booked. When we found Mindemoya Court we were pleasantly surprised that they had a campers cabin available. This is a rustic, one room... More

We just returned home from a four day motorcycle trip to Manitoulin Island, Sudbury and then along Georgian Bay back to Owen Sound. We stayed our first two nights at Mindemoya Court and absolutely loved everything about it. The scenery is unbelievable! We stayed in #12 and since it was just the two of us it worked out perfectly. Super... More

This property is quite large and very nicely kept. The owner is very helpful and available during the posted 9-9 times. Remember to bring a fan with you as the cottages do not have them nor are air conditioned. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds are basic and maybe doubles or queens. On a hot day it is difficult to... Thank you for the review. I just would like to clarify for others a few Items that you mentioned. First off is this summer Manitoulin recorded one off its hottest summers on record. Normally we would be already turning the heat on not air conditioners. I will note that in the future a good fan will be supplied when necessary... More

After reading someone else's review about this place on Trip Advisor I decided to give it a shot. So so so glad I did!! It's not at every campground that your campsite will have an amazing view of the lake with it's spectacular sunset, that the swimming area is so well thought of with its great dock and diving board...
