We stayed here for 3 nights in a cold and snowy April, and Ann and Andrew were perfect hosts. We had freedom to sit in the sunny conservatory or the large sitting room at the back. Fresh milk in the bedrooms, great hot and powerful showers, and a fantastic breakfast including home-made jam. A special trip to buy Thurso smoked... More

We loved our stay with Ann and Andrew at the Croft House. Ann makes a spectacular breakfast, not to mention she also makes her own wonderful jam. This B&B has such a view, is so comfy, and has all the comforts, not to mention a great WIFI. Highly recommend this B&B if you're in Caithness.

Retaining a traditional croft house style & experience, the Croft House offers all this, plus great facilities worthy of any 'top' hotel. The bedroom I stayed in was in character with a lovely Scottish Croft House, yet had all the modern facilities you require; with great wifi and well placed electrical sockets for all your travelling gadgets. The added touches... More

We cannot rate this B&B high enough. Anne & Andrew were most welcoming & went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our room was spacious, extremely clean & came little extras like chocolates & an assortment of biscuits. The bed was very comfortable. We found it extremely good value, with a superb breakfast choice. The added... More

This was the twelfth and final stop on my LEJOG cycle ride. I wish all my previous stops had been as good and so reasonably priced. A clean, spacious and comfortable room, topped off with an excellent choice of breakfast. Anne and Andrew were also the most welcoming of hosts. Cannot recommend enough and will definitely be returning with my... More

A real oasis in a remote part of Scotland! Ann and Andrew are without doubt the best hosts anyone could imagine. Their attention to detail and impeccable service made our stay one of the most enjoyable experiences of our visit to Caithness. Breakfast is truly amazing with a choice of Thurso smoked haddock (my favourite), kippers, full Scottish cooked breakfast... More

Great place for anyone travelling to North of Scotland to take a break. Very handily placed. The hosts, Ann and Andrew, were very friendly and welcoming. Made us feel totally at home. Accomodation was well up to the mark - spotlessly clean. Large, freshly prepared breakfast. Would stay again if ever visiting this area of Scotland. Bell and Thomas
