We originally wanted to stay at Father's Guesthouse of which Gerards is attached to, but it was full due to holiday period in Malaysia, so we happily took an offered room at Gerards. It was great. Although Gerard's doesn't have the ambiance of Father's, it's clean, comfortable, relaxing, has a small kitchen area for preparing coffee and tea and non-cooking... More

We were undecided whether to go for Gerards Place or Father's Guest house. As it turned out either would have been very nice. We went for Gerard's however what we saw of Father's we also very good. Both are owned by the same people and although staying in Gerards we spent quite a lot of time at Fathers as that... More

Gerards Place is an appartment that has been converted into about 10 rooms with a couple of shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen. The place has been recently decorated and so is quite clean. All meals and service can be found at Father's Guest House which is just a couple of minutes walk away. As with most of Malaysia that... More

The place to be in the Cameron Highlands! Gerard's Place and Father's place are great guest houses! Gerard's place is new, nicely decorated, spacious and within walking distance of Father's place were you can have breakfast or dinner. The food is delicious! The staff is very friendly, well-informed and eager to help. They organise many excursions in the area as... More

Stayed at Gerards Place as Fathers was full, great place, room in what was obviously once a private appartment, shared bathroom which was ok as there were two. Shower leaked around seal and flooded bathroom but otherwise was great, free wifi, hill made us fit getting home at night. Really helpful people and travelled on their van to Kota Bharu... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Gerard's Place. Yes - it was a bit of a walk into town, we timed it to the bus station and it takes 10 minutes but in scenery this stunning - who cares? We found the accomodations were great value for the money even with the extra surcharge for the school holiday break. Gerard's... More

Stayed for 3 nights in a double with shared bathroom. Rooms were in a modern flat. Rooms were clean, bright, spacious and secure. Gerard, Jason and Lynn were friendly and were always willing to provide information. Booked tours and onward transportation for good prices and without problem. They provide a pick up service on arrival which is useful because of... More

When we arrived, there was a bus from the hostel waiting for us, we were picked up. The man who invited us, described the rules and explained everything we could need and ask for. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There was also living room with television, where people could sit, chat and meet together. The apartment there is... More

It´s basically a well kept apartment in which they rent out very nice rooms. A bit too far from reception and restaurants, but it is nice to know your staying in a quite and nice place. I would recommend for sure.

We spent three nights here, and found that the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The shared areas were nicely furnished, and there is a large television with a great abundance of satellite channels. The beds were comfortable, and there is no need for air conditioning, as it gets quite cool in the evening. We were picked up from the... More
