This place was great value and convenient to Tanah Rata. It was clean, comfortable bed and great to be able to relax in the lounge. Host was very helpful and friendly with lots of ideas on what to do.

Gerard's Place was an excellent. The staff were really helpful with booking tours around the highlands, and buses to your next destination. By far, the two best things were the amazing quiet at night, and the shared common area. We had a really good time with all of the other guests, and having a sofa to relax on made a... More

Clean hostel, very quiet place (except for the second night when a baby upstairs was crying all night), good wifi, nice 'living area'. It's location is a 10 minutes walk uphill from the village. The staff was friendly but they weren't much around, which is inconvenient for paying/information. RM100 for a double room, shared bathroom, pre booked, breakfast included.

Very nice guesthouse. Good atmosphere and very helpful staff. We celebrated our daughters birthday here and the staff arranged a delicious chocolate cake that we shared with the other guests!! Thanks Valerie!!! This was our only stay in a guesthouse during our Malaysia trip, especially our teenage kids enjoyed it very much because of the contacts with all the backpackers... More

We spent three nights in the highlands, 1 at father's and 2 at Gerald`s. The latter was one of the best we've stayed in Asia. The owner Jay was really friendly, she picked us up for the transfer and gave good advice for a hiking itinerary. We did loops of trails 4-6 and 5-3-7 which were moderately difficult but full... Gerards is a great guest house that offers a good standard of accommodation at a reasonable cost. I can't speak highly enough of the friendly and kind GH owners who really care about their guests. Jay and her son Joshua were full of information and helpful tips about everything relating to our stay in the Cameron Highlands. In fact in... More

Our family had 2 rooms at Gerard's for 2 nights. Overall an enjoyable stay....the highlands are great! Accommodations were clean and quiet, but there were a few small hiccups. For example, the morning of our arrival (by bus), I received an e-mail telling us to report to Father's Guest House (which handles all reservations, etc.). Upon arrival at Father's, we... More

We stayed at Gerard's place for two nights and enjoyed our stay. The staff was really friensly abd helpful. The common areas were excellent and breakfast nice (all you can eat tea, coffee and toast with jam). The hostel was a bit hard to find to though. Also our bedsheets were very damp but I guess that's more because of... More
