This hostel is all right. It works for backpackers on a tight budget but it would definately need some redecorating. It smells like sht and is very cramped in the upstairs dorm but the terrace is very big and nice. And cameron highlands is a nice place, well worth a visit. Just remember to bring some warmer clothes, because it... More

Positive: A very good terrace. Good place for rest and meet new people. Very hot water. Negative: No light in the dorm and not so much space. It smels like urinal of cats. Internet very slow. Consusion: It is not so bad place for low budget travellers, but you can get better dorm or room in another places in the... More

This place is not so bad. We had a double with ensuite beside the bar. We found it to be clean, and decently quiet (maybe we were there on a good night?). That said, it did seem a bit "dank". The bathroom ceiling was covered in mold and the blankets had that unmistakable mothball scent. The man at the desk... More

I enjoyed my stay as it was a good location. I left today and noticed bumps all over my shoulder and back and my legs. definitely bed bugs. Id check my bed if I were you to make sure you don't get them.

I've been to this Guesthouse two times. Its definitely the best choice in Cameron Highland. Very very cheap room, big common area to chill'out, meet a lot nice people, jungle bar with bonfire every night, cheap beers, good wifi, friendly staff, the best thing about the bathroom is very powerful shower pressure. The Guesthouse is right in the middle of... More

At a hostel I don't expect much. All I want is a nice sociable environment and a clean room and shower. A great location is an added bonus. Kang's ticks the first box - it has a nice porch out the front with couches and tables where one can socialise and chat with other travellers. Also at night theres a... More

Lodging is ok, cleanliness is ok, The Jungle Bar is nice and the staff are friendly enough, good info on treks because they actually don't try to push a tour on you "too hard", they give you info on things you can do by yourself. It's Cheap so overall it's pretty good to stay here. I did take a tour... More

Arrived by bus to then be greeted by a little shuttle bus run by the hostel to take us up there (walk would only take about 5/10mins). Rooms are pretty basic but provided lockers. Bathrooms were clean. We booked for one night and ended up staying two, staff were friendly and great at helping us plan our day also were... More

We didn't actually stay here, but the owner of our accommodation takes his tenants here every night, and I can see why. It has the cheapest beer prices I have seen so far in Malaysia (8RM for a big 500ml can of Chang Beer), it has a nice outside fire and a pool table. Great place to spend your evenings... More

I read bad reviews about this place but it was not all that bad! Firstly the staff are very friendly. You get free cold water and the location of the guest house is perfect. The rooms do smell musty but you are only paying five euro a night per person a night so you get what you pay for. We... More
