We stayed here 4 nights, the lodge have a big common area with couches, tables, chairs and a good wifi connection. Its easy to meet people there, and its only 200 m from the busy mainstreet. The attached bar (think its called jungle somthing) in the back is great for bonfire and beer drinking at night. We stayed in a... More

The lodge is on a side street just up a small hill from the main street (easy to find, there are signs) so its quiet, peaceful lodge that a really relaxed atmosphere. We stayed in the cheapest twin room and yes it was small but the sheets were clean and no bed bugs. The common area is massive with heaps... More

I stayed at Daniel's Lodge in may 2014 for a couple of nights, and stayed in the 8 beds dorms with no lockers. Basically, this hostel is really basic, but the price is a bargain. Bonus: there is hot shower in the common bathroom ! As I am used to stay in the cheapest place every time, with limited comfort... More

The hostel is centrally located which is its best (only) positive aspect. The room was standard size but had an incredibly horrible smell in it. Mostly coming from the linens. When we asked to change the linens (we stayed 3 nights), the staff didn't honor our request due mostly to indifference it seemed. The front desk guy was helpful only... More

Excellent price and ideally located for exploring the Cameron Highlands. We spent one night watching Donnie Brasko with about a dozen other residents of various nationalities and this added to the brilliant atmosphere that this accomodation has. Staff were very friendly and very inofrmative about the area.

Went to ask the reception about the dorm and its size, but was told by the receptionist that the dorm is full, told him again that that was not the question I asked, and he said more than 10 person. Asked him again the exact figure, and he said again more than 10, maybe he can fit 10000??? What a... More

I had a good time there, the room was clean and the place is close enough to the main street. They can organise tours, for a fair price and interesting driver/guide. Nice place to meet people and share. Good location in tanah rata, fair price too!

My boyfriend and me booked two nights in a dorm, we stayed one even if we had paid for the other night. The dorm mainly is a hall full of beds which we did not care. You pay 12 RM without locker or 15 RM with locker What we cared about was the smell of insecticide all over the place.... More

Really nice place, close to the main street in Tanah Rata. Hostel has everything you need and more: a bar, free book swapping and they offer discount trips and transfers in the area. We did a fantastic full day trip for 75rm which took you everywhere in the area. Rooms are a little bit cold but there is good bedding.... More

I did not stay in this guesthouse. I did however meet people that stayed there. The atmosphere seemed nice. I was invited foe an evening drink ar the fire in the garden next to the guesthouse. Being on my way, I was reminded if the dog that is running loose in the street if the guesthouse. Since I do not... More
