This is exceptional guest house accommodation: warm hospitality in the most comfortable surroundings at a really affordable price! My bedroom was beautifully decorated with views of the pretty garden. Fluffy Bathroom towels, heavenly soaps and lotions adorned the bathroom. My breakfast was a feast of fresh fruit salad, homemade bread and marmalade and really good coffee. I can't think of... More

I stayed here with my two friends on the night before my friends wedding. We found Sarah to be very friendly and accommodating. She prepared a fantastic, wholesome and tasty meal for six of us that night. We certainly had plenty of food. The lamb and roast potatoes were devine! We had lovely comfortable rooms and beds. The next morning... More

Set in an idyllic & Picturesque part of West Cork, Kilcolman Rectory offered a Sunday afternoon full of delights. Myself & a party of 16 enjoyed a wonderful afternoon celebrating my mothers birthday over afternoon tea. Sarah greated us warmly on our arrival & escorted us to her delightful gardens. Afterwards we were welcomed to the dinning room for afternoon... More

This beautiful house and its garden are well worth a detour, even if you only have time for a delicious cream tea! Sarah Gornall, the chef proprietor, is one of the finest cooks we have encountered: innovative, and knowledgeable, welcoming and generous. We can't recall having eaten a better lamb dish than we enjoyed at Kilcolman. Most garden produce is home grown... I went for the guided tour and high tea in kilcoleman house along with my mother and found it extremely disappointing. We met with sarah, who was waiting for us outside the front door and she pointed us in the direction of the garden but gave us no garden tour at all. The garden beds were very poor and needed... Sarah gave us a wonderfully warm welcome. The Rectory is a lovingly restored, beautiful, homely and comfortable house. Sarah, chef and garden enthusiast, gave us an informative tour of her mature garden with lots of interest and the cream tea was superb. Well worth a visit. Galway Flower Club
