I have stayed many times at this establishment when working locally. Rob the landlord is a diamond, nothing is to much trouble and he always looks after me. Kev the chef is brilliant, never had a bad meal here and I have probably stayed there over 40 nights. Rooms are clean and comfortable and excellent value. Restaurant meals and breakfast... More

I've just spent three nights there whilst working locally. The owner was very accommodating offering to buy an extension lead for my colleague who needed access to more.plug sockets than the room had. The bedrooms themselves are very clean and warm, the bed comfortable and there were enough towels and some soap. The rooms are a little dated now but... More

In fact we turned around and went back to inform the Staff that we were not staying because of the above. He totally disagreed with our assessment and instead of... More

Had 2 nights here and booked online, all looked good. On checking in the room was a bit shabby and the matress very thin making the bed very hard. Had a meal in the bar, which I must say the food was brilliant. Although we stayed 2 nights, the room wasn't made up for the 2nd night and no fresh... More
